Past big games you had a sneaky feeling we would dominate and win despite being underdogs

I remember after losing to UF in 2018 I just knew somehow we’d beat UGA the following week. Just one of those I felt certain. I felt Burrow was due a big game and Aranda would have a solid game plan. The weather was great that day.

I do not currently have this feeling ahead of this weekend

Miami 2018, I'll never make that kind of easy money ever again.

Think it was hilliard who just destroyed a defender on the sideline

Then 2 years later fournette eviscerated them

I felt like we would come out and shock Kentucky last week and roll them. I was way wrong and will now squash that stupid feeling if it comes back this year.

The feeling now is that we will be manhandled and embarrassed.

We will not win this weekend. That is without a doubt.

Oregon, Miami, and Oklahoma come to mind although I’m not sure what the spreads were for any of those games. I know we weren’t favored for Miami and narratives about GOAT status for OU for a month leading up to that game.

2003 Natty against Oklahoma. Its weird I was just so confident. The thought that we might lose never entered my mind. The most confident I have ever been in a single big game was 2007 against Virginia Tech, there wasn't a doubt in my mind LSU would absolutely destroy them and they did. I don't recall the spread in these games just big games I remember being very confident.

That UGA game is the "we gone bring 40k to death valley and take over game" for UGA fans

I remember that game and day leading up to it so vividly. There was absolutely no way we were supposed to win that game, but the whole tailgate feel that day was crazy...after awhile it just felt like there was no way we could lose.

1997-LSU vs. Florida Before the game, LSU fans were starting to feel the "magic" that Dinardo had brought back. The campus was buzzing with confidence. Went in with a "We don't care who you are, bout to beat that arse" swagger.
Also, had the opposite feeling the next week when the Tigers lost to Ole Miss. Too big of an emotional swing to adjust with that coaching staff.

After we lost to UAB in 2000 and Tennessee put up 70 points on ULM that same day nobody gave us a prayer of a chance the following week against them. I told a friend though that if Rohan Davey starts against Tennessee I guarantee a win. Guaranteed it.

And I felt good also about UGA in 2018. Told some friends in Jax the day after the Gators beat us we were going to bounce back and beat the Dogs. Didn’t guarantee this one but I did say we would beat ‘em.
