I just ordered some tickets for the Sunday game against Arkansas. Is there any free parking within reasonable walking distance, or is it best to pay the $8 and park in one of the lots? This will be my first game at the new stadium.

There are plenty of places to park for free. You just may have to walk a little

i dont even know what 8 dollar parking you are talking about. I thought you either had a parking pass or parked by the old box for free or in the hayfields for free

It's the parking pass you get on lsusports.net

Where exactly is the hayfield lot?

i don't think there's a such thing as "pay per game" parking. you may be able to buy someone's pass randomly, but you can't just drive up and park.

New this year...go to LSUSports.net. It is not for all games and I am not sure how many are still available but they are selling them.

Apparently. You order them, they email them to you and you print them out like game or concert tickets.

Hayfield lot is underrated. Especially if it just rained and you've got a good bit of baggage (wife/kids)to tote to The Box.

I parked there for every home game last year. I didn't ming the hike. Especially after the game while I was walking past all the people who parked in the lot and were sitting in traffic trying to get out.
