Gray is probably the most unclutch and worst FT shooter i have seen, especially for being a frickin PG.

Shooting in general for the team isn't good at all.

Amen?!?
I honestly don't know whether Johnny Jones is a good coach or a wait and see, but he can't shoot the damned ball for them.

How in the frick is this loss on Johnny Jones? How?

He is at least responsible for the recruitment of the players. 3 years into his tenure, we are still not considered a deep team. That is something we always criticized the previous coach for, and for JJ being a master recruiter, the results on the court for this team, outside of a few individuals don't look good.

Martin is easily the most disappointing because he would be good if he actually cared. But he plays so soft and looks uninterested most of the time.

Do CJJ and the players not realize that these games mean everything come tourney time? They look like they don't give a flying frick and it's so frustrating

Was Martin on the floor at the end or did he foul out? Don't know why you don't have Malone in there as he has a nice shot and won't get blocked as a last option.

The most disappointing thing was the wide open 3 that gave them the 3 point lead at the end.

Gray is a better FT shooter than our PG last year.

Martin missed most of the second half with foul trouble.
A ton of missed layups and shots from point blank range.
Clemson had more hustle and took more of the 50/50 balls on the floor.
Typical dumb turnovers all around.

The only really bright points in this game that I saw were Quarterman and Odo playing above what's expected from them.

I guess in LSU's defense. It's probably hard to get fired up playing for 4th place on Day 4 of a tournament in the Virgin Islands.

He's made all the right recruits but man it's shite like our PF taking the last second 3 pointer that makes you really wonder what the hell JJ is doing here

He's a great recruiter and horrible coach. That has been evident since year 1. Hell, it was evident at UNT. He won the conf. once in 10 years. NO ONE was clamoring to hire Jones except Dale Brown and his former players.

I am glad to see Hickey and Stringer vindicated a little bit however. They weren't the problem last year. My God, I would kill for Stringer to still be on the team. The group couldn't hit water if they fell out of a boat from outside. They literally have ONE guy who can shoot from deep, and even he is very streaky.

With the complete inability to shoot they are going to have to play tough defense to win games - they don't.

They are also going to have to be clutch at the FT line - they aren't

I thought last season was a COMPLETE disappointment. This year is setting up to be even worse

Today's game only bothers me a little. What is more depressing is coming to the realization that no matter how much we "coach 'em up", this is not a team talented enough to even get in the big dance. We just aren't very good. Period.

Yep, we have no one who can change the momentum of the game. No one who can even shoot

It's on Jones to realize the limitations of this team. They should be at the bottom of the SEC in 3 point attempts this year. Recent stats say they won't seeing as how LSU has taken the 1st and 2nd most 3 point attempts in a season in LSU history in Jones' first two season

Wish we could go back in time and get Ethan Martin , Cookieman , Macklin. Those were great days. This shite is depressing and no matter how y'all describe these players coming in the last few years. None of them plays anyway like there description
