Kunka,
Then why would Stud not pursue other opportunities?
What assertive coach with integrity and self respect allow his offensive reputation to be undermined by a control freak head coach?
Is it simply the money and lack of opportunity elsewhere?

Ive been saying the exact same thing

SOS next year.
I wish some one could teach Les what offense is.
As far as offense coaches go anyone would better than what we have now!

You guys seriously need to get used to the fact that Miles is running this offense and he isn't going to do a damn thing.
This
Y'all think stud can't do offense? Pretty good at bowling green..it is obviously miles most of the time...

I'm not arguing that this may be true, but, if it is, how does he have the time?
I rarely see Miles with a playsheet, does he override with whatever comes to mind, or just the same few calls?

LSU has been and most likely always will be a run first team.
I don't think most people complaining have a problem with being a run first team. You can be a run first team and still have creative playcalling.

doesn't take much time to stay:
...let's stick with the run down here, i think we can muscle it in
...let's pick up the tempo
...let's spread it out some and throw some quick screens
I'm not saying he does any of this, but you don't have to call every play using a playsheet to dictate the flow of the offense.

Choctaw, It seems your act is to go opposite of whatever any Op says...
I guess you think that is clever, 39,000 posts, Do you do anything else with your life.
This offense this year was no better than last years, the stats bear that out.
A change is needed, but I doubt it happens. I like Miles and I never want to see someone lose their job, but a real change at OC is needed if we are to keep up in the future.

Agreed. Les can just say things like "run the toss lead" or "throw the slant" and Stud can actually call the play using the play sheet. Things have been too similar for too long to think this isn't Les' offense.

In 2007 the fins went 1-15 and they fired Cam. In 2008 they went 11-5..
I'm a Dolphins fan and I can tell you that's the difference between Cleo Lemon at QB and a healthy Chad Pennington.
Also in 2008 they had the easiest schedule I've ever seen an NFL team ever have. Keep in mind that's the year Tom Brady was out for the season too.

Had dinner with a family friend last summer, someone who was on the headphones when plays are called at LSU. He said that Miles calls/overrules plays "constantly".
I asked him about the rumor that their were a lot of new "more wide open passing" plays practiced that we didn't run against Alabama in the BCS championship game. He said that was true.
I asked why not. He gave a frustrated look and replied, "I have no idea". I quit asking questions.
