My original prediction for the Florida game was 45-17. Pre-game I adjust my high expectations to 38-21. So not far off. If we had capitalized on TO's game would have been a BLOWOUT

People don't get the fact that NO ONE in the country can guard/stop Chase, Jefferson, Marshall (when he comes back), not to mention Moss, Dillon, Sullivan, AND shut down our run game of CEH and TDP, PLUS the one overlooked reason why we dominate

"Keeping Burrow contained in the pocket. "

It's impossible combined with the pace we play at to stop us. Unless we stop our selves by turnovers.

I have been super impressed by Joes ability to throw on the rollout this year. It's ridiculous how good he's been. Especially in the redzone. But Burrow's most underrated quality is his mobility, vision, And toughness running the ball when the play breaks down. He's not a Tebow or Prescott type but he's more mobile than most stud SEC QBs the last 10 years or so.

When the defense gets a play where everyone is covered and has a pass rush, Joe almost ALWAYS feels it and finds the open lane to scramble. He won't rush for more than 250 this year because the pass game and Oline are clicking. He might not be as good of an athlete as Jordan Jefferson was but he is light years and galaxies better seeing where and when to run. Not to mention a very underrated athlete.

This will pay dividends late in the year mark my words.

I’m not reading all that. Seems like more than one reason there.

Brady is doing something college football hasn’t seen before. I’m not going to pretend I know what it is, but he’s got the players to run the system and I’d be surprised if any opposing DCs slow him down this year.

I find this a very strange comment.

I was really impressed by Moss that game. His field awareness is awesome. He ducked his head right after a catch over the middle, knew the defender was coming and then fell on the almost fumble in the second half when we were driving.

And the run game successful: our oline is dominant!!! And most of these guys will be back next season!!! Or will be eligible to return. I hope they return. Brennan is going to SHOCK the Tiger Nation!!!

He is twice the athlete. Jordan had happy feet. Joe is cool calm and collective. He can make your arse pay on the ground and through the air. Pick your poison.

I believe the gravity of the threat he poses throwing keeps the defenders stuck in place longer than when the defense doesn't respect the passing threat.

Joe doesn't have to have the same speed as Jefferson because defenses know they'll get burned hard if they don't adequately respect the pass. That said, because Burrow is as athletic as he is, when he takes what the defense gives and happens to call for running it himself, he does a damned good job.

His feet and arms are good enough to force defenses to pick their poison. His tactical awareness gives allows him to correctly identify which demise the defense seeks to avert, and correctly give them the one to which they are vulnerable.

I understand what you are saying... I still cringe when hearing the name Jordan Jefferson. To put him in same sentence as Burrow when discussing qb's, should be a sin.

I wouldn’t say that he’s twice the athlete, but I would say that about his awareness and football IQ.

Biggest reason he's dominant IMO is LSU sends more receivers out, and those same receivers NEVER drop passes. The improvement in that area is dramatic when compared to last year.

We are running an RPO pro style offense that takes what the defense gives us. There are no teams in college football that can line up and stop us, Brady will find the weakness.

The defense has to play on it's heels because they don't know where or when to attack. If they Blitz JB knows where to go with the ball, if they play zone the receivers find the holes, if they pay to stop the pass we rush for 200yds and 3 tds. There is no simple answer to stop this offense they can attack you anywhere.

We should leave JJ out of the conversation. Ironically, one of JB's favor targets is JJ's younger brother.

I do not know if Jeffersonis a good athlete or not.. he was an awful QB. Had we had Burrow 2010/2011/2012 you probably win at least one maybe two NC.
