Overall, I’m still excited for the direction of the program.

Let’s remember that most realists felt we would struggle this year.

Most resists knew that Jayden Daniels would be a stop gap that allows younger QBs to develop in the system.

The future is and has always been Walker Howard.

Trust the process.

Do we have issues that need to be addressed? Of course. But Brian Kelly isn’t lucky. He earned his way and has been a success everywhere. So sit back and be sad for a year or two and watch the program take leaps forward.

You're excited to see our young, talented QBs "develop" in this shitty offense?

See, the process is the issue. That is the big concern.

minimum of 3 coaching issues in first half alone...take the points, get some momentum...punt the ball leave them deep..yeah great direction. WE'VE BEEN HAD TO THE TUNE OF 100 MILLION

Just curious, did you think the offense had no chance of developing when they got shut out at home in 2018 to Bama? A burrow led offense at that.

You think I liked our dinosaur offense in 2018 because I criticize our dinosaur offense in 2022?

I know that Kelly has been successful at every stop and will find success here as well.

What we have right now is a qb who played in a far weaker conference learning first hand that the speed and power of the SEC is not for the faint of heart.

If Jayden is here next year, I expect improvements.

I think most people forget we had fewer players at the end of last year than a 3A high school team

All of this. Coaches are human. BK will either evolve and coach better or we'll traffick exotic animals until we have the money to buy out his contract and get the coach from Kansas. Everyone needs to calm down.

Let us know how excited you are when our existing RB, WR and QB recruits start decommitting.

I just wanna see what happens when we get a few good recruiting classes in a row that actually stay on the team.

So making the playoffs (and getting blown out) every 5-6 years is what you want out of LSU?

I think what we have is an OC/HC who have coached in far weaker situations who are learning first hand that the sped and power of the SEC is beyond their capabilities

Ah the ole dinosaur comment.

So at what point did LSU go from “dinosaur” as you say to what they were in 2019? Lemme guess, “Da Joe Brady Offense.”

Uh yeah, we completely revamped our scheme with modern concepts.

It wasn't even that special of an offense or that creative. Our talent made it run at a high level.

But it was a huge improvement schematically from 2018. We are basically running a "2018 LSU offense" in 2022. You can't win with that shite in big boy football.

I think he’ll have much more talented teams here and those teams will be more battle tested throughout the season so when we make the 12 team playoff every year we’ll be ready.

Dude you and I both know that the teams he had at Notre Dame were vastly inferior in talent than probably 90% of the lsu teams in the last 20 years.

Good coaching can only get you so far. Eventually you need the horses and he was never going to have them at the level he can at LSU.

And he played in a vastly inferior situation that was barely a P5 schedule each year.
