No, actually fans who disrespect other fans or tell them they don't fit what a fan should be simply because they disagree with them are an utter embarrassment. Now both of you please go root for Bama and see you next season when my boy Mett is the QB and you can all hate on him because he isn't JJ and is actually good.

OK let me get this straight... You can't call out other fans when they are acting like idiots like I did... but you can disrepect LSU players who have compiled an 11-0 record?

Seems like you are an embarrassment as well. Now go sit on the short bus with other idiot.

You are actively predicting a player to fail. This can mean one of two things. 1. You want to be able to say I told you so. 2. You actively cheer against him. Either way you are wanting the most important position on the team (not really on ours but as a general rule in football) to do bad which in turn may as you said prevent us from winning the game. Why not root for the guy admit hes done better and hope he keeps it up.

Wait, JJ compiled an 11-0 record? I know you didn't just say that. Maybe you should go sit on the short bus and think back to the beginning of the season. Also, no you can't "call out" other fans who have a different opinion than you which is not "acting like an idiot". Also, yes I can objectively look at my team's players as much as I want. End of discussion dunce.

Wow, JJ managed a good game against a horrible team. I'm going with well over 2 sacks and possibly a loss to Arky. Get ready for more BCS confusion. Hopefully we can overcome Captain Tuck'n'run's garbage play.

Let's assume (and I would think everyone wants this to happen) that JJ has a good game passing and running and we handle Arkansas. Will you still feel this way. What if we win the SEC Championship? The BCS Championship? At any point will you say that perhaps you underestimated Jefferson? Would you be "honorable" enough?

I don't root for someone who participates in a group assault and kicks a marine in the head for trying to help someone being ruthlessly beaten. I don't root for someone who should have been kicked of the team and yet gets to come back and start over the guy who saved our season and who also is a much better player. I don't root for the guy who can play like crap not matter what and keep the starting position and whose fangirls run around every time he has a decent game talking Heisman. Um, no, I'll just root for the team to over come Captain Tuck'n'run.

Reading comprehension much?

I said... "LSU players"... not specifically JJ. I just highlighted his name cause he was the one you referred to.

See the little "S" on the end of the word? That means plural... meaning more than one. Which clearly, if you didn't have your head up your arse, meant and and all LSU players in general.

I've already said I want to see it against Arkansas. If he plays well I'll admit to underestimating him, but I still won't like him as a person or think he deserves to be the starter after what Lee has done for the team or what he did at the beginning of the season.

I don't think Les would either. He apparently thinks JJ didn't, but he wasn't there like you were.

His holding onto the ball and getting sacked is one of the few facets of his game that I have ALWAYS had problems with. It bothered me all last year, and still does. Throw it away. I DO NOT WANT HIM TO FAIL. I Bleed Purple and Gold, but this is the part of his game that bothers me.

You can be critical without wanting him or us to fail.

Really, so this statement doesn't imply that the "players" I'm disrespecting have lead LSU to an 11-0 record? The set of which contains one element (JJ). Maybe you need some comprehension lesson.

And playing JJ over Lee is most certainly disrespecting a player who led us to an 11-0 record. If that is what you meant then I agree.

Interesting how you think those are the facts of the case. They are not.

According to . . . oh, yeah, you.

Again, according to . . . you and a few rantards.

Jeez, Friday can't get here soon enough.

And there it is. You single him out when a large majority (including Lee and Mettenberger) of the team was out that night. You have no idea who kicked the marine in the head just as no one else does except for the person who did it. The witnesses that said JJ did it have been found to be non credible. If they were JJ would have gotten a felony and been kicked off the team. Not you I or Les Miles knows what happened that night. All we know is JJ was out and may have thrown a few punches in a bar fight like any 21 year old who sees their friend in a fight.

It wasn't the difference in opinion what made him the idiot. It was what he said.
