I promise you no fanbase is clamoring for CWW to become their head coach. But you guys stick your head in the sand and do you!!

Wade was very careless at LSU. A top SEC AD does not want to hitch a top hire on Wade. Maybe a school with low standards like Ole Miss. Definitely not Kentucky or Alabama. Greg Byrne, the Alabama AD is better than that.

You’d think he went to 5 final fours in his stretch at LSU by the way rantards talk about him. Guy has been coaching since 2013 and he has one sweet 16 to his name with a few R64 and R32 exits while he had all the talent in the world at LSU. Guy had the golden ticket here with these people eating out of the palm of his hand and no actual expectations of success with a very underwhelming track record, and he screwed it up because he couldn’t even do shady shite at a high level

I’ve said several times Lsu could hire Phil Jackson and we’ll still have the cult of Wade creeping around.

A number of schools have already hired their new coach & didn’t even consider WW, UK or Bama isn’t about to do it. He was always going to be back in LC next year until the show cause penalty is gone

I do not understand the complete facination with Will Wade. I mean he was a decent coach but it isn't like LSU was ever competing for national championships with any of his teams. His best team won the SEC and made it to the sweet 16 and that only once, big deal..

Get over it as he is gone never to return.

The best is when they reminisce about the glory days of when he had Tari Eason and Darius Days on the same roster and didn’t make it out of the round of 64, or Days, Watford, and Thomas and didn’t make it out of the round of 32.

If only we could have him back in a time that paying players is legal and his only advantage is nullified, we could go right back to underutilizing talent and having a below average on-court coach with an obsessive cult of personality over his weird build and the fact that he looks like what I’d imagine the average rantard basketball geek fan to look like IRL

No one is clamoring to hire Matt McMahon, either.

Don't be so stupid. McMahon is doing a good job building it but to act like Wade wasn't good here is retarded, especially considering we had the most wins in the SEC over his 5 years here. Missing Wade and still having hope for McMahon are not mutually exclusive.

Exactly. I liked WW and wish he had stayed but to wish he goes to a competing SEC school and then to wish he continuously beats LSU shows it is a cult. These are some messed up LSU "fans". Get a life please.

You are a geriatric moron. If you truly graduated from LSU in 1972 then you would know what good LSU basketball looks like and what we have at this current moment ain't it.

I think it's pretty relevant considering the fact that Will Wade did very well at LSU when he was our coach.

Yes, he did well, but he got caught up in an FBI investigation & got fired. He’s no longer here bc of it & another P5 program won’t touch him either until after next season

We did have one season where we had two guards that could dribble. That was exciting!
