Just looked at the forecast for Wednesday, and it appears it's gonna be another mud bowl. 50-60% chance of showers during game time. Both teams depend on their running game more so than their aerial attack. Which team does this benefit?

Takes away LSU's speed advantage if it's truly a mud bowl.

Apparently Iowa has 3 of the best linebackers in the country as their fans say?

Man what's the fricking deal with Florida being called the Sunshine state, seems like recent years , Florida is getting as much rain as we get snow in Montana. LOL. Certainly , realize that it is also 50 percent chance that it won't rain.

It's an NFL field so it should drain well and not be like the 2010 Cap One bowl. We've had good luck in the rain this year (Auburn,A&M) so we'll be fine. Just hand the ball to Hill and Magee.

With a mobile QB now I would say a very big advantage to LSU.

If Mett was healthy I am not sure.

Very true. I'm very optimistic now that AJ has the start Wednesday.

Favors us.

Iowa played almost every game this year on artificle turf.

Wet warm weather is the norm for Louisiana. We played in quite a few wet games this year.

If its 'showers' then the field and game will be fine. What happened in the cap one bowl wasnt showers

It stormed during the Saints-Bucs game earlier this year and the field held up fine.

I remember the LSU - Penn State fiasco when the there was a game the day or two before in the slop. The weather won't affect us.

Yeah, there was a deluge for about an hour prior to KO then actually stopped for most part after. Wasn't the problem several other games (HS) played on it before the bowl that tore it up beforehand? Seems like it wasn't cut for several months also and a real quagmire! Don't anticipate that type surface at RJS!

No it's not. Even with heavy rain. Outback bowl is at an NFL stadium. They have a much much better field than Citrus bowl stadium, which is outdated and not very well maintained
