Why do we have so many. They look awkward, throw lots of balls, and seem off balance after their release. Is this real or am I just looking for black sheep?

I’m pretty sure pitchers run a lot
I know skip used to run them thru campus and Rantz would take shortcuts

Not sure how much they run these days
On their pitching off days they are at least running poles

Ever think that maybe they're not trying to be the best at exercising?

Lots of good fatties. Ours just can’t throw strikes.

Cooper is the only one I would consider out of shape.

Not going to lie I get more annoyed at Cooper for struggling every other outing relative to the other pitchers given his obesity. He is a D1 college athlete with every resource in the world to be in shape, and not only is he out of shape, he is obese. It just signals to me he doesn't give a shite.

Dude three 100 before everybody threw 100. Terry Forster was another. Not everybody can be built like studs.

Tony Gwynn was fat as hell and one of the greatest hitters that ever lived. Kirby Puckett is another. Don’t let body type fool you. I remember Mark Lemke with the Braves would run up the tunnel between innings and smoke a pack a game.

An entire Phillies World Series team looked like a bunch of middle aged beer league guys. That isn’t a determining factor.

Ack and Little both pretty hefty. Little is thick and probably in better shape than other 2.
