Our Reward for Beating Bama

Making very few assumptions:
1) Go beat Georgia again in Georgia.
2) Beat Bama on neutral field playoff game, assuming we won SEC ship.
3) Then get to play for a National Championship assuming previous game won.

Then let's just lose on purpose then. We've had to play Georgia twice in one season before in order to win a national championship and guess what, we won the whole damn thing. Had to beat Bama twice and things didn't work out in our favor. It is what it is. At the end of the day, I'd rather be a playoff loser than a citrus or outback bowl champion.

It just sucks knowing that Bama potentially has an easier road to the playoffs if LSU beats them then wins out

yep, kills me that a team has to go play a conference championship (not all created equally) and some do not even have one at all. then a team like bama has the backdoor guaranteed in.

The playoffs should be the death of the conf championships!!
Auburn lost everything last yr bc forced to play an extra pointless game for them.
Same could happen to LSU again.

As bad as I hate to say it, if we beat Bama, we need Clemson, Oklahoma and ND to win out. No way they leave an undefeated team out. No way they put a one loss team who didn’t win their division in over a one loss Big 12 champion. (I hope anyway)

Florida and Kentucky also control their own destiny in the East. The way LSU ran all over Georgia I like Kentucky’s chances with Benny Snell.

Bama will NOT get in the playoffs this year with a loss and no SEC championship. It's not going to happen.
