the only consideration should be who gives us the best chance of winning. If that is McMillon so be it.

um, if one of those is walking through the doors of "the ponderosa" anytime this season, let me know.

Not seen they are walking through the door. Just saying that in this league, QB mobility is a must.

What I meant by "invested" in Narcisse was by his recruitment and what he could bring to the table at the QB position at LSU.

No more has been invested in him than McMillan. I've seen a lot of both of them. Skill sets are almost identical.

He was a very highly rated dual threat QB(#9) and if not for his two knee injuries would have been right there with Tua at the top, probably #2 if not #1.

I get it. You are a fan. He's in college, HS rankings are irrelevant. Again that not a measure of whats been invested.

quote:

We invested in him with his two knee injuries also. But I think you already knew were I was going when I said, "invested"

Same argument could be made in recruiting JM in the 2015 class when he was not highly rated or recruited. But the argument that because of what was "invested" overrides whose most capable is absurd. If JM is better, it won't matter what their ranking were. But I get it. We are the rant. Having a conversation like to dummies sitting at the bar a "Walk-Ons".

This was by no means a slight on McMillan.

Well we really should explore the definition of "slight"

What O wants offensively fits MB skill set. But if LN can gain some accuracy with his athleticism maybe he is the best option. I don’t think McMillan wins the job or he would’ve Been #2 last season

I have said this before on here. I think Coach O wanted to burn MB's Redshirt, that's why he played him. Coaches have a method to their madness and it doesn't always benefit the player!!!

Why burn the RS though? Don’t get the logic. Ln RS but he likely doesn’t wait that long for significant PT anyway and that’s the only semi logical thing I could come up with

Because it doesn't make sense to have 2 RS QB's in the same class. MB was the better of the 2 so why not get him playing time and it increases you chances of keepin him around.

This post is the TRUTH! Anyone who thinks there is an actual QB competition is just delusional. MB was GIVEN the #2 spot last year in anticipation for the #1 slot this year...HOWEVER...that does not necessarily make him suitable for the starting position. All 3 QBs played spread offenses in HS, so until the offense fits the talent, it's all pointless.

JM was not even on LSU's radar for QB recruitment in 2015. He came to a 3 day camp and was offered the second day. He couldn't have been too bad! ??

After all this time and a short history here you have developed sources that inform YOU of the QB situation. Why would you think anyone would put stock in your words? Unnamed sources are worthless information. You put forth old, regurgitated information followed by a question? Where are your "sauces".
