Brennan will be the the starter with packages for Narcisse. I do kinda feel sorry for McMillan. He very well might be more seasoned and ready out the 3 but it ain't happening for him. They invested to much with Brennan and Narcisse.

Both will have to fall flat on their faces for McMillan to get a shot.

Your comment is part intelligence and part stupidity. What has been invested in Narcisse?

To many years ago to matter but y'all kidding yourselves if you don't think Brennan and Narcisse will both get playing time. I just don't think McMillan will be part of that.

If MB is the starting QB, LN and JM should transfer immediately!!

JM will graduate in May with two years of eligibility and LN will four years of eligibility remaining. Why would they stick around if O doesn't change the offense?

I would also say, MB should transfer if he doesn't win the job.

The offense will have to pick a style and soon we'll see what that style will be. But if you're thinking playing two QB's or using the "dual threat QB's" for wild cat situations will satisfy them, don't be naïve.

You're getting plenty of down votes. But all you did was make sense.

I say "through the air" because that' is what I believe to be the most important attribute a qb can have. If it wasn't. We'd run a HS offense where the best athlete is under center based solely on legs. We've had mobile qb's. We've had Russell Shepard. This is cfb, not La 1A. In the end, a college defense will force the qb to HAVE TO make plays with his arm. A team will reach a level where their opponents will have the defensive athletes to neutralize a mobile qb that is subpar in throwing the ball downfield. I present to you, that team off I-20, east of La that shall remain nameless. They pulled their 2 yr starter in the NCG and brought in a more dynamic passer, in order to win the game. Case closed. If we have a really mobile athlete that can make crucial plays with his arm when forced to, bring it.

The most dangerous SEC QBs have been guys who could do both. Its a run-game league. Cam (Heisman). Tebow (Heisman). Manzel (Heisman). Jalen Hurts (2016 SEC MVP). IJS

Glad there's competition. Get real though...

Brennan is our starter but Narcisse will see quite a bit of early action and have many chances to shine. We will also need McMillan and he'll get some time. There will be no transferring with this group. I will say, it's going to be exciting to see how things play out. Each in their own ways, are studs.

Silliness. The dude got a scholarship to LSU to play football when his next best offer was something like Texas San Antonio.

He's only at LSU because we sucked arse at QB recruiting

WTF, you just gonna disrespect him, his family and all the hard work he put in. He earned a Football Scholarship because he is a good football player and was a great HS QB, that led his team to 2 6a State Championships.

He deserves a shot, it's not like MB or LN are killing it at the QB position. Of the 3, JM seems to be the one that is best prepared to lead the team!!!

By contrast Myles Brennan has peaked and could tear the team apart if he is named the starter

Brennan has not peaked.

They have to beat Miami which is very good.
Use whomever is best able to lead LSU to beat the U.
McMillan is my bet before we see spring game. The future is now. If narcisse shows up this summer, great.

I do consider this. I believe we'll have some SY and GL situations/packages for one of our fleeter of feet guys. as we should. use every wrinkle/advantage that we have. where we have failed over the past several seasons is 3rd down/distance where we need a crossing route, TE release down the middle or any decent throw INSIDE the hash marks.

What I meant by "invested" in Narcisse was by his recruitment and what he could bring to the table at the QB position at LSU. He was a very highly rated dual threat QB(#9) and if not for his two knee injuries would have been right there with Tua at the top, probably #2 if not #1.

We invested in him with his two knee injuries also. But I think you already knew were I was going when I said, "invested"

This was by no means a slight on McMillan.

I’m certain we do.

As far as Narcisse goes, prior to his junior season he was the #3 DT, behind Tua and a kid who chose TCU, whose name escapes me.

What O wants offensively fits MB skill set. But if LN can gain some accuracy with his athleticism maybe he is the best option. I don’t think McMillan wins the job or he would’ve Been #2 last season
