predicting that bama will beat lsu is not unrealistic by no means.

not impossible this year just seems not likely as it all looks on paper, I know, we will see.

while I agree with you, but robert smith has consistently picked against LSU. He even picked miss state to beat lsu year. Every since his suckeyes got it handed to them in the da dome, Robert has been against us ever since.

He feels the same way about UF as well . When UF and LSU play this year he will predict the buses will crash into each other.

Mr. Smith lacks objectivity, hes worse than Herbie and even fails at hiding his disdain filled synopsis with personal recollections from his playing days as to sway us into believing he sees something we can't. Frick him

Solution for the Robert Smith problem:

They should dock his pay every time he's wrong on a pick.

Bet he'd start making sensible picks in a hurry.

This is the same guy that signed a multi-year contract in the prime of his career with the Vikiings and then quit after the first year because he did not have a desire to play anymore.

I don't have a problem with the prediction if it has back up and is reasonable.

To predict that Alabama will travel into BR and beat LSU needs reasoning...

In my mind, LSU will be better and with huge chip on their shoulder...why predict Alabama in BR? Give me good reasoning...LSU has beaten Alabama 2 seasons in a row

Somebody tell Robert that LSU has won 9 of the last 12 meetings. Alabama is just taking advantage of the situation when they escape the SEC...and winning big when it counts...and Amen, they executed...and played well

"Its harder to win the SEC than the MNC, just ask Alabama"

Robert Smith would crawl on his hands and knees throught 10 miles of broken glass just to sniff the tires of the garbage truck that haulded away Saban's used rubbers!

Well.... it isn't like he predicted North Texas to beat them... I don't see the problem, we all know Alabama can beat us as they are just as talented...

i don't know what's gonna happen. i've been wrong so often, that i quit guessin'.
lsu has to watch out for all the trap games, ms st., au, s.c., al, tam, ark...
i say this every year. it makes for a better year if we win, not, b/c i thought we would loose, but, because i was honest w/ myself andd said, "i don't know."

last year all the negatigahs said we would loose two games in the regular season, so, boy, were they happy when we got shanked in the ncg.

i was very proud of lsu and all the players.
that's how i think.

Saban and his teams get lazy after a national title. Why would this year be different. Alabama loses two games this season.
