frick off. This team has no experience and they are playing conservative to protect against that.

Do you want a repeat of Auburn?

We have a very limited offensive line and a true freshman qb. You can’t get to complex/creative

We played far more wide open with Brennan. A good part of it is the inexperience.

The offensive game plan was ball control.

Oh come on, the damn creativity was gone even before Brennan was hurt. What we saw was remnants of last year and Brennan playing his arse off.

Go back and look at the 3rd down conversion and red zone rate in that time. Linehan is NOT helping and E is just not creative like Brady was.

This team is finished unless O makes wholesale changes ASAP.

Playing to win the game. Our best chance is for the other team not to have the ball and for us not to hand the game away like Auburn game.

You think the only experience dearth comes from the QB position? Do you even follow LSU football?

This is a shitty take.

We’re playing within what we can do with a mediocre OL and a true freshman qb, this isn’t hard.

We had 3, probably 4, maybe 5 first round guys at the skill position last year FFS.

We have a freshman QB and no defense to help save us.

There isn’t a whole lot we can do.

Brennan's lack if running ability is part of that, but again, we were far more vertical and creative with Brennan.

I think TJ has more upside but they're babying him.

But where’s the creativity to help Finley? I don’t mean asking him to thread 15-20 yard throws I’m talking about those easy conversion routes we ran so often last season. Using backs and Gilbert or a Kirkland underneath or maybe a pop pass or jet sweep to get 3 yards and possibly spring one on a second and short. You can be creative and still protect your passer.

Hard to be creative with a true freshman qb, te, wr and an in experienced o line.

Finley has no touch on his passes and he lumbers with the ball under his arms. What creativity do you want with him?

He’s ok for a freshman. That’s about all you can say about him.

You can’t rifle underneath passes and rifling is all he can do.

I agree. We aren’t exploiting and hammering favorable matchups the way we did last year. We aren’t as unpredictable as last year. You can be creative without being super aggressive. Those aren’t the same thing.

I’m not talking about asking more from him I’m talking about getting creative to protect him. Hey sweeps, pop passes, underneath stuff. We’ve abandoned the crossers that worked so well for us last year. And run that stuff on favorable downs like second and short. We’ve gotta produce some big plays without asking Finley to do too much.

He sucks at that. Are you watching the games? 15 yard passes are Finely’s strength....that’s about it.
