grads from Ohio State, Michigan and Cincinnati. I explained that some Tiger fans were getting restless with Les Miles. They were shocked. They said LSU fans better watch out because sometimes you get what you ask for. They all expressed strong feelings about Les being a winner and a great recruiter.

Fans of other schools aren't always the best source on the question of how good your coach is. Fans of other SEC schools were "shocked" when Bama fired Shula, too.

Besides, Les is irrelevant. He has no more impact on the outcome of LSU's seasons than the chicks that dance around in skimpy costumes at the WWF exhibitions. All of us, including Les, are just watching a soap opera that somebody in Birmingham wrote months (or even years) ago.

I disagree with this statement. It's not like he has all of a sudden changed the way he coaches. Coach Miles has been coaching for a long time and he has forgotten more about football than probabl anybody on this board. He is somewhat limited by youth and in order to keep the games close enough that he can win them he has adjusted his game planning.

Young players can do great things but they can also make huge mistakes and when you have youth on the team in key position, QB for example, it is better to remain conservative and stay in the game. The battle is for field position if you can slow the game down and that is all he is doing. He is coaching great, traditional, old school football and the guy is a class act.

I wouldn't be at all ashamed to have Coach Miles represent the University of Alabama under different circumstances.

Just my opinion.

Which LSU headcoach with at least 3 seasons has the highest percentage of wins over his career, not to mention an NC? If it's not Miles, he's got to be at least #2. So let's bag him because we don't dominate the SEC-West every year and hire a Rich Rodriquez.... a couple of 5-7 seasons (or worse) should shock us LSU fans back into reality.
We had better hope Miles doesn't pack it up and go back home anytime soon.

the point your missing is that with all this talent we should not be losing 2-3 games a year but his move with kicking off rp set this program back for years ....

We lost this year to top teams in the nation, and, even then, we played them damn competitively and probably could have beaten Bama if given a level playing field. I wouldn't trade our coach for anyone. He has class and character and he keeps us competitive every year. You can NOT win a 'Ship EVERY year. When we win it again, I wonder how quickly all these negatigers will SHUT UP!!!!

Lets get past Ole Miss and Arkansas before we call this season a success. 8-4 doesn't cut it here anymore, especially following last season.

So we are the only one with talent? Don't tell Bama fans that, they will take offense to it!

G.K. do you really get it? This fella from AL.com, loves to see our team faulter and could be a potential problem, to their being the dominant force in the league so they can stay at the top.

That statement of his is very T.I.C.!

One thing we all have going for us, is the pendulum does swing and it will swing back; the question is, just when that happens?
