nothing more than a scrimmage

You have no idea how silly this sounds. Coaches spend the entire season trying to build winning habits and then you tell the kids “this bowl game doesn’t count”
That isn’t how the world really works. You don’t go into a nationally televised game and experiment with your quarterback, just to see what happens. it cheapens the efforts and commitment of everyone else on the team, and makes a mockery of what you’ve told your players all season: that the best man starts.
Trying to be nice, but really, that’s about the dumbest thing I’ve ever heard.

I predict that Daniels plays the full bowl game and declares afterwards. ESPN has a ESPN+ article today that breaks down 19 teams that will be looking at new QBs this year. Cliffs... the QB situation in the NFL right now is abysmal and a QB that doesn't turn the ball over and can scramble will likely fetch a premium.

There is about to be a Heisman campaign underway for Jayden Daniels for the 23 season.

I'd be shocked at that....unless he has led BK to believe that he is coming back next year and is lying to him.

If BK thought Jayden was going to the draft I expect he'd advise him to announce ASAP and sit out the bowl game for several reasons.

A) Injury

B) Make sure Nuss doesn't go in the portal

C) Injury

D) Allow Nuss to get all the practice and game reps for the bowl

E) Injury

Your take was so bad that it didn't dignify a response.

It sure did get a lot of them. Guess that hook was too shiny.

This. The poster getting all the flack is correct: Nuss is by far our best option right now. He needs to play the majority of the game, but Howard should get 10 or so attempts.

It is not even close.

You think you know more than Coach Kelly?

the evidence I submit in support of Nussmeir is simply his play in the second half of the UGA game.

With 2 turnovers. Nuss has more turnovers in his career than TD passes.

You don’t need to be a professional coach to see that Nuss is light years ahead of Daniels throwing the ball

As evidence with his ~800% higher interception rate than JD.

You also don't have to be a professional coach to see he turns the ball over way too much

And that campaign will go about as well as Bobby Jindal 2016.

Our starting QB will start unless he is injured. Nothing else will be different than the rest of the season when our starter was healthy. It works this way:
QB1
QB2
QB3

worst decision BK could ever make.
He will set our QB room back 2-3 years. Time for Daniels to leave LSU. Thanks for your scrambling. We will try a new offense next year.
