Just a little PSA to anyone claiming on Twitter that OU statistically has a better defense than LSU...
Stats that favor OU:
Total Defense: OU- 24th; LSU-32nd
Stats that favor LSU:
PPG: LSU-27th ; OU-50th
Yards Per Play: LSU-27th ; OU-39th
S&P+ Def Efficiency: LSU-29th; OU-41st
Stop Rate: LSU-17th; OU-67th (yikes)
3 and Out Rate: LSU-9th; OU-61st
Projected 1st Round Picks in 2020 Draft: LSU-2; OU-0

All I’ve read here in Tulsa on the local sports talk radios Facebook page, is that LSUs defense gave up 38 points to Vandy.......I tried to explain that isn’t true, but they get mad and call me an idiot lol.

They lost to Kansas State. They nearly lost at home to Iowa State AND TCU.
The very easily could have dropped 1 to Baylor.
I literally have zero concern for this game. Unless the offense turns it over 3-4+ times it’s going to be ugly.
