I was 12ish at the time and was called bitch, fig, fattie, etc by Sooners. frick Oklahoma, they're worse than Florida fans.

Remember when Oklahoma was the land of hard nosed cowboys and such? Well, not so much anymore. They’re delicate little petunias that need to be nurtured.

I was downtown in Nola the entire time leading up to the game, partaking in all of the festivities, but I didn't go to the game. I was even down there long after the game was over. I do not recall a single bad incident between LSU and Oklahoma fans. Sure, some smack was talked but it was nothing to write home about.
I'm sure things were said and done that were out of line, but I think alot of it is being embellished.
Oklahoma isn't coming here anyway. I feel an LSU-Clemson matchup may be somewhat heated but an LSU-Ohio St matchup will be an incredibly cordial party atmosphere. In fact, I will be pulling for the Buckeyes.

Undoubtedly, that was a very rough period for Big Game Bob and his bunch.
They were emasculated in their conference championship game, prior to that loss, and to add insult to injury, their QB played like the least deserving Heisman winner in history.

Man that’s the weird thing: there is definitely a very real sense here of “pick yourself up by your bootstraps” still to this day...except with OU football. Don’t touch their precious Sooner football team by God.
