They are crapping their pants about this rumor over there on 24/7. His dad made a post basically confirming it.

Sam Bradford? He's got eligibility left? Might be good for the QB room

It's behind a pay wall.

He's basically saying LSU has been in Tre's ear the entire time and Tre is going against the family's wishes, but kids do what they do.

Bradford would be #5 on the depth chart if he were here.

It would be a bad decision for him to transfer here.

Dad is basically saying LSU coaches continued to call Tre even after his dad said to stop pursuing him. He claims he never got comfortable at OU based on the stuff LSU was pumping into his head. Family doesn’t approve of Tre going back to LSU and thinks Tre is going to have to learn the hard way.

Update 1:50 pm:

Just had a Pm that told me the another site said it was Tre Bradford. So there you go.
This has been something I have been aware for sometime, like I said yesterday.

I called Parker around 7:30 am this morning. I told him I had heard about this as a rumor with LSU and didn’t think much of it.

Well, I was wrong and there is some teeth to it, obviously. Everything below is still pertinent.

I didn’t want say the name or what school due to sensitivity, but another site has supposedly put it out there, so here we are.

Note: Family does want him to stay in Norman. So there is that, as well.

from their board

Interesting. From what we've all read and heard, our RB room is already pretty crowded with guys who are going to contribute.

I mean he can come back, but with the emergence of Williams as a legit RB, we have 5 running backs right now, with probably 2 more next year. I don't think he is going to see a lot of playing time here.

They were high on him before he left. According to Cody W or Hester. I can’t remember which.

Sounds like it's from their board, from our board.

They're also high on the 4 kids we have, Citizen, Law, Holly and Owens as well.

Is it really though? Remains to be seen. The upperclassman have performed average and nobody really knows what the freshman can even do in college.

that doesn’t mean you turn away more talent

You put them all on the field and play the best one

Could be very telling of perhaps a few things:

1. TDP's injury is more severe than what has been suggested (O said it was something he was going to deal with throughout the season).

2. O continues to have little faith in the upperclassmen RBs (Emery/TDP). O hasn't been shy over the last two years in saying those guys need to "step up".

3. There is another injury (or something else) we don't know about that is going to cause another of the RBs to miss time.

Otherwise, it seems odd (1) a guy would RETURN to a school he just left to be the 5th RB in the rotation and (2) LSU would pursue him hard to return
