that doesn’t mean you turn away more talent

Lol, this was Les Miles' strategy with kickers and punters. We're going to have at least 6 scholly RBs on the team next year with equal to better talent than the kid who dropped like 50% of the passes thrown to him last year. There's no need for a transfer RB.

Wait, so OU tampers with him to get him to transfer (apparently something his dad wanted more than him) and now his dad is upset that he never stopped talking to LSU, where he chose to go originally?

Sounds like the dad (or someone pretending to be the dad) is accussing LSU of violating NCAA rules.

Not ideal. Let’s see how this plays out. I can only imagine that OU will be doing some compliance work here if what’s being insinuated is fact.

So his dad is on TOS blatantly claiming LSU has went around them to communicate directly with the player in question while on scholarship with another school?... if true, LSU staff is just adding onto their ***** pile of scandals... if true and they are caught for Tampering, nothing will happen. They already have a massive mountain of issues going on with their program yet the NCAA has looked the other way.

He would have to sit out a year, right?

Glass houses and all, Oklahoma shouldn't even be thinking about rocks.

I find it VERY hard to believe that LSU would be pushing extremely hard, at the risk of committing NCAA infractions, to get a guy to transfer...2 weeks before the start of the season...to solidify the 5th spot in the RB rotation. The ONLY way that even remotely makes sense is if LSU knows they will be extremely thin at RB this year and we, the fans, aren't aware of that fact.

What is more likely is the kid felt family/outside pressure to go to OU because there was some kind of benefit to others besides him. He's maintained relationships he made at LSU and decided he wants to go back...angering others who were benefiting from him being at OU. Others, who are now trying to shift the blame to LSU.

It's already too late for him to come in and play this year anyway. He could barely run the 1 play we had for him last year let alone Peetz' new system.

Is Bradford a guy that we'd really still try to pull back in after he went into the portal and accepted an offer? With the RB room we have and are building, I don't see it.

I know Ed O really liked him and would always mention him in his pressers after practices or scrimmages.

I'll wait for the coaches to reply.

Orgeron always spoke highly of him. He was forced to play last season as a true freshman without benefit of practice.
If Emery and Davis can't stay healthy, we need him, IMO.

What excites me about the possibility of him at LSU is that he is completely different from the other backs we will use this year. Apparently he has shown blazing speed and quickness in Norman. Fans there are pissed about him leaving, because he's been impressing at practice.
