Then why was he hired?

The West is Bama's. What part of last week's performance makes you believe we can compete with Bama, keeping in mind how O has fared in the past vs. Bama?

what do you think we finish this season

The pressure was to hire the best coordinators...you completely missed the point

The pressure was on him to do this because he campaigned for the job on the promise that he would manage the program, hire “the best” coordinators, and let the coaches coach.

Every single problem O has with performance, expectations, hiring, retention, development, etc. is completely self-inflicted.

After the 4 wins I see that should be automatic I have no idea, every SEC opponent is a toss up.

He's 5-6 over his last 11 so I don't have high hopes.

So instead of just one game I'll ask you again. What do you see out of O's past eleven games that makes you believe we can still make it to the SECCG?

I don't mind it. If you are going to set a replication-goal, that's a good one. Just need to take a long, hard, OBJECTIVE, look at the MULTIPLE factors that made that offense and then replicate those factors and Orgeron might approach it, even closely. Which would be a success. Just wishing it or calling the same plays doesn't do it. It is only one factor.

Now the defense... I'm not sure they are trying to replicate anything else (other than 2020). I'm not sure they should be trying to replicate anything. The opponents offense will dictate what you do. Then you stop it. Either they adjust and you do in response or you just keep stopping them. There's nothing to replicate there - just taking from the enemy on a game by game and even play by play basis. Then you have to play to your strengths (i.e. personnel). If man works, man works. Run it. If zone works, zone works. Run it.

You probably want an identity on offense so that you can dictate to their defense. The only identity on defense you want is "schitzophrenic". You want the offense guessing where the next punch is coming from.

Ingram and a few other veterans coming out and saying they weren’t prepared.

And now hearing UCLA looked at the LSU spring game and ran the same game plan the LSU D used. Good gosh this clown show resets it’s own high water mark daily

This problem is systemic and culture. No adjustments will fix those issues during the season. A band-aid approach does little.

I was there. Both offense and defense were disjointed. Totally unprepared. It was embarrassing.

The talent disparity was too much to overcome, but good coaching did it. They made LSU look like a pee wee team.

Max and the WRs are so out of synch.

You didn't answer my question when I asked first, so I guess you aren't man enough either but whatever.

Right now I'm thinking 7-5 or 8-4. Auburn, Florida, Bama, and A&M all look like they have their shite together and will score a ton of points on our pathetic defense. Bama will destroy us.

Ole Miss is better coached than us. That could be another loss as well as Kentucky, but O will probably pull something out of his arse to get them to win one of these. I sure hope so.

But he is tasked with fulfilling O’s sexual fantasy of recreating 2019, which is impossible. He should be untethered to run what works. Make running the ball a priority, for starters.

Mother of GOD! The assumptions are crazy.

Also, did you watch our game? I'd be surprised if we could run verses a high school team.
