I complemented Orgeron twice in the last few days.
I’ve also questioned his coaching ability and in return I get the normal responses about negativity, miserable people, etc.
I’m gonna challenge people, that’s who I am.
All in all I know what you’re trying to say. There’s a few people that are far beyond having a positive debate with. They’re sold on O, no matter what facts you present. I need to learn to ignore those morons.

You can be against the idea that he has been or will be a good coach and dispute those that think otherwise. But, the people that actually call him names and the few that want him to fail are absolutely fricking morons.

I’m guilty of calling him a clown. I’ll admit that. I just think he’s a clown, but I thought that 10 years ago when he was recruiting against us.
BUT I will NEVER root against LSU and he’s the head coach. I’ve said that numerous times here, but people think I’m only negative.

Didn't O coach a few games at USC and LSU as interim coach. But let's don't count those as it doesn't play into your narrative.

I didn't know this until recently, but interim records are counted in the NCAA record books. If we're going to have this discussion then those two seasons have to be included.
ETA: I know what you're saying because I felt the same way. However, if the NCAA counts them then it's rational for us to measure him using the same criteria.

Furthermore, in my view the pro O crowd is much like the Democrats. All emotion and very little facts. The crew against O are like conservative Republicans. Sometimes things aren’t black and white.
Both have valid points but whether looking at it from an emotional or factual standpoint, LSU isn’t what it used to be. And the administration needs to do do whatever it takes to get the mojo back. If it’s supporting O with the best staff and facilities possible then do it. If it’s firing and starting over again then do it.
All I want is LSU to be elite again. This middle of the road sec team that we’ve watched over the last 3-4 years just sucks and isn’t fun.

In fact, both of those coaches had a 4-5 week stretch in one season that resulted in more SEC wins than Orgeron had in 3 years.

I get it and if the NCAA includes then, I agree it should be included with the stats with the OP.
