Orgeron saying Marcel Brooks could fill in for Chaisson has me pumped!

He's more of a safety body type at this point, but man I can't wait to see him go after the quarterback this Saturday. Guy is a stud athlete.

Really hope him, Ingram, Brennan, Flott, and Evans get some good work in.

It doesn't make sense though. Divinity is the CLEAR replacement for Chaisson, IMO.

Brooks is a playmaker and should be on the field (needs game speed experience)

The look in is eyes - he wanted it and showed it.

Hell, after seeing him running full speed and wrapping up, I wanted him to replace the other safety or nickel.

If you want it more, you play, IMO.

Yeah, I agree, but I guess they're still trying to keep Divinity inside.

I just want to see Brooks on the field. I would love to see him play next to Delpit actually.

I was coming here to post the same thing.

I can't wait to watch what the young man does!

Obviously I am not a coach, but from the outside it seems like Divinity should be replacement for Chaisson, allow Clark to play more at ILB and have Brooks play opposite Delpit.

Maybe O is indirectly telling Divinity to step up his game.

I see what your saying but we are all hoping this is a game we can get the starters out and let the backups and young bucks get some work. I think he’s just referring to this week not the rest of the year.

The little Marcel played, I'm impressed.

Brooks is a stud, but he's 194 lbs. He's a safety until he adds more weight. Comparatively Jacoby Stevens is 227. I'd slide divinity back into Chaisson's spot and put Queen back at ILB.

That being said, Aranda has so many exotic formations I'm sure he's figured some way to make Brooks fit his scheme.
