Oh we know (wink)

Our little secret

The laws of physics explain the whole phenomenon though. You don't need a degree in astrophysics of advanced degree for that

“11 games”

I always thought the measuring stick for LSU football coaches since 2000 has been winning championships such as the west or the SEC and competing for national championships.

Well, other than Alabama, no other SEC West program has won 11 games since Auburn and Alabama both did it in 2013. So while we may have greater goals and expectations, winning 11 games in the SEC West seems to be a bigger accompishment than you might think it is.

I don’t think 10-2 is where we really want to be ultimately unless that 10-2 gets us into the CFP (which is possible, see UGA 2018).

10-2 with a non-CFP bowl win would still be some improvement, however.

Having a 10-2 season with a CFP appearance is certainly competing for championships IMO, assuming we didn’t lay 2 more goose eggs against Bama.

Depends If we beat Bama or not. Regardless of record, it's going to be the goal for this team

Peej, I thought about you the first play of the Spring Game when the offense looked over at the sideline. What did you think about the check with me?

My concern is that O will never be held to the same standard as the previous coach who was fired because Alleva has a yes man, and he and people like you will always say the program is improving even if the results on the field show otherwise

But the results. not just on the field. Just results show that the product is getting better. It's the people that refuse to acknowledge those improvements that are contemptible.

We see what we want to see, good ole human bias. The issue becomes once you become so invested in a belief it's hard to change.

If we're right it's going to be a great season. If they're right, not so much. But even in ever season Miles was here my faith grew every offseason because that's generally how fans are.

I guess it comes down to personal philosophy, some people feel let down so often they aim low and hope they're surprised . More cynical, critical and just don't want to be disappointed.

I saw that as well.... In a spring game I have no problem with it... But during the season that should NOT HAPPEN....

nd while you’re at it, you're acting like last second and OT losses are the same as 30 point shutouts.

Those wins were in hand....in hand.....you know what this means don't you?

I'd rather get blown out than blow a lead....at home.
