“Brook trout look” was Saban talking about his players reaction in Gainesville when Spurrier was dropping 40 on them.

This I can agree with. I think it is the "bayou boy" coming out in him. Bayou folk tend to speak their mind and not totally think about what they are saying. I think O sometimes says more than he should.

Is Canada considered a top flight coordinator though? I want him to stay because we need continuity but I'm not too certain he's considered top flight.

Sorry they haven’t gotten with you yet on how they should handle this situation.

Jk, they don’t owe you a damn thing.

the problem is Alleva

if you remove all other context of your text wall, this part remains true. He was the search. He hired a guy who had a position expertise, but was not fit to be a coordinator on the condition that he not meddle in the offense. Stupid decision resulting from a poor process.

I would like to think so. IMO, he definitely did not do enough this year to warrant a head coaching gig even at a G5 school.

Have to see what he does with Brennan/Narcisse/etc and company next year. Then we should know.

When Orgeron's comments are immediately accompanied by by a suspicious groundswell of anti Canada comments on this site from seldom- heard- from posters, one can draw a much more negative inference about Orgeron and his intentions. He can be plausibly depicted as setting up Canada for failure and fan distrust. This would be consistent with the manipulative behavior some described last year, when (according to those stories) Orgeron started undermining Miles while still on Miles' staff with Alleva and BOS. I don't know if any of this is true, but it has my attention and I am concerned about it

This is pretty close to what happened. Miles needed to go but coach Zero played him behind the scenes and with a Zero resume somehow got the job. He immediately set up convicted felon tug boat as his man Friday and has called him his closest advisor. Zero + Zero adds up to.....

coaches text and speak to recruits constantly. I am sure they know what needs to be known. Canada is visiting with multiple QB recruits this week. i am sure he will mention he plans on staying(even if he isn't).

For pete's sake, it is gossip and our Tiger Rant fueling this rumor mill. Blaming Coach O borders the ridiculous... Coach O could have played it better but blaming him for not playing it perfectly is ridiculous.

Should Coach O come out and announce too that Aranda might get a look from schools looking to fill head coach or defensive coordinator positions?

No they do not need to explain anything.
They will say what there needs to be said when/if it is needed.

Darn it, just when I thought stupidity could not get any higher.

We don't know that O and C got in a fight. That was strictly message board rumors, repeated enough times until it became the truth. We don't know what happened at the meeting between Aleva, O and the coordinators. We were playing bad ball and it may have simply been a wtf? meeting. Rumors said it was about the fight enough times to make it true. Drunk interpretation of a simple answer has taken this whole thing down a spastic rabbit hole. O may have simply meant that Canada is a talented mother fricker and he is sure many teams will be contacting him. Internet speculation about what the words may have meant, along with repeating the wrong speculation 1000's of times is creating truths that may have no basis in reality. The Russians may be influencing this through a tremendous PR campaign and the fans are sucked right in. While stupid, repeat that 1000 times as the truth and see if it grows legs. Sometimes a cigar is just a cigar.

You need to become more familiar with the subject matter before posting drivel. The post game show with Hanny and Todd reported the altercation. It was later revealed after a retraction that Canada went after Zero twice and the players separated the two on the first attempt and coaches intervened on round two of the Canada va Zero resume back stanbber.

This fanbase is full of fools. Canada is looking for a head coaching job. This is no secret and has been reported by multiple media outlets. O was just answering a question he was asked.

I didn't see any reports that Canada was looking for a head coaching job PRIOR to Orgeron's post game pres conference.

I agree that Orgeron was just answering the question and that our fanbase is full of fools, though.

The politics on this board could not be more clear: Orgeron and Ensminger are "one of us".
Canada is not.
Seems to me that the whole theory to support the Orgeron Experiment was to hire the two top coordinators available. I like the two we have, but jury is still out on Canada.
If forced to choose today, I would keep Aranda and Canada and send Orgeron and Ensminger packing.

There has to be a situation in order to address it. The only.place this situation exists is on this forum. COACH O and Allieva and Canada and recruits are not aware of the alleged situation.

Baloney.
I would be shocked if this issue is not already being used against LSU in recruiting offensive players.
