Orgeron: Why is he giving media so much lip service?

During the tenure of great LSU coaches, not sure on Dietzel, but Arnsparger and Crimson Dwarf, the communication with the media was tight-lipped and in response to specific questions. Most of the time, the answers were very limited and conservative.
This guy Orgeron, well he is like the inventor of Loose-Cannons, he promotes Loose Cannonry!
I wonder if he realizes that LSU folks really don't give a rip about his proclamations! I would go further to say that VERY FEW give a rip about all his piffle.
The proof will be in the pudding. CEO sold us a bill of goods, now he will be held to account, no matter what he hoarsely announces in his PC's and BS.
Someone told LeBron to "Shut up and dribble the ball." I think someone needs to tell CEO to shut up and do his job, he is losing legions of season ticket holders.
I hope Joe Alleva is noticing and realizes it will lead to his eventual firing.

He’s never accomplished anything vaguely noteworthy as a head coach, so talk is all he has.

It is called defection.
He redirects focus from reality. People who love embellishment and sensationalism would rather pie in the sky predictions. O knows that and continues to tantalize.
This behavior should give pause to fans who are looking for truth.

I'm not an orgeron guy, but didn't he close them out from spring til 1st game??

coach o is being coached up by alleva to do 2 things;
a) keep media on his side to spread propaganda to calm the angry masses
b) minimize the smear campaign from same media when the shite hits the fan and everyone including alleva throws coach o under the bus and runs for cover...

This! So many fans ready to jump ship before the season starts, like any of them has a clue what is going to happen. O is the coach and that's that whether you hate him or love him he deserves the opportunity to coach his team. Win or lose and then he will be judged at the end of the season

He's marketing himself. Telling people what they want to hear. Building positive support, hoping it will carry him through the year. Who knows what's really going to happen.

You guys think he is giving out the play book! Man just said he is running a spread offense and might use two quarter backs. Its not like he just opened the play book and said hey come take a look at the plays we gonna run this fall.
