It's actually worse if we're being honest. Firing Canada to bring E back as permanent OC is unforgivable IMO.

Les Miles mentality,

104th ranked offense is unacceptable at a school like LSU.

Miles had a history of underperforming offenses, but this years offense, as of now, is the worst offensive rankings since 2009.

Since 2009 (this is as far back as I could fine offensive rankings), Miles offensives finished 112th in 2009, 86th in both 2010 & 11, 87th in 2012, 35th in 2013, 80th in 2014 and 39th in 2015, which was Miles last full year.

2016 was ranked 59th and 2017 was ranked 54th. This is embarrassing for this years team to be ranked that low, and this is as much on o as it is on Ensminger.

I think Ensmiger resigns at the end of the year. He loves LSU and he knows he’s not the answer. He reluctantly took the position to begin with. Let the man leave with some dignity. But, we need to have Freeze or Briles already on board, even if not publicly until SE makes it official.

I think honestly think CEO is waiting for an OC he wants to come available like a Steve Starkisiean(Sp) at the ATL falcons, baby briles and even what’s his name Johnny freshwater himself at FAU. I believe Canada was Alleva choice and O and Canada had personality conflicts. The names above except for Kiffen aka freshwater image needed to be much better before Alleva would hire at LSU. CSE was the logical choice he did pretty when he was interim OC when O fired Cam. Kiffen got one more yr. before being fired I think Starkisien might be gone from ATL if ATL loses a few more games. Going to Bama then ATL with zero wiff of alcohol issue. I bring him in as a shadow guy like Bama did. Have CSE stepdown for health reason kinda like urban Myers then the optics for having three OC in three yrs is more background noise than front page news. CSE takes a couple months vacation and goes back to LSU as TE coach CEO gets the label of being good to his coaches by letting CSE back.

I don’t know why Eds statement surprises people.

He fired a successful OC (who cares if he might be a giant a-hole) and hired SE who was a failed OC last century.

Ed tied his future to Ensminger and if he has to fire Steve, he (and Alleva) should follow him out the door.

I’d also like to point out that the only 2 coaches on the staff that seem to be earning their paycheck were holdovers hired by the previous coach.

If you think any of those guys are coming to LSU to work for O you’re fooling yourself.

Kiffin took a pay cut to coach at FAU.

And no, SE was not a logical choice.

When O Line plays decent we look pretty good.
When the suck... we don’t.

Remember opening drive vs fla?

I also remember Florida adjusting and SE making zero counter adjustments.

And how did that turn out.

7 wins against tough competition

Auburn: 6-3, not ranked
Miami: 5-4, not ranked
State: 6-3, ranked #15 in Coaches and 18 in AP
UGA: 8-1, ranked #5 in both polls
Ole Miss: 5-4, not ranked

I'll agree that Georgia and Miss. State are "tough competition", the others, not so much.

This is bullshite.

You people act like the guys on the o line we’re just randomly pulled out of the band and thrown into the football field.

While they don’t the stars that the Bama recruits have, every knee if our linemen would start for Arkansas State, ULL and they would all be in the rotation if not starting at Arkansas, aTm and Ole Miss.

Yet all those teams did more against Bama than we did.

Is this the most talented online ever at LSU, of course not.

But they extent you go to trash them in effort to not criticize EO and SE is pretty bad.

You must realize. He puts the once a Tiger, always a Tiger thing at a way too high of a priority. Seriously.

As long as a Steve is viewed through the former Tiger perspective, he will always be given too much leeway.
