Circling a team on the schedule that is objectively better than you, and then judging your season on that one game, puts a LOT of pressure on your team.

Until O and LSU do this, they will continue to struggle recruiting against bama. The only way around this is to get into the CFP and win the NC. LSU could lose to bama in the reg season and still get into the CFP. Once there they could win it without actually playing bama again. I'd rather beat the bass turds, just pointing out the only substitute to beating them. And that's a 1 loss NC team.

Ben, give us some links that quote Nick Saban talking about LSU in the spring and summer. Any references to LSU on a speech to boosters?

So they were ready for it? No, not quite. For the two winning teams that Jefferson played against before Bama, he had 8 carries for 9 yards. He had 4 carries for 2 yards against Auburn the game before Bama. Lee was the main guy leading up to the game and most of the focus was on him (which was obvious seeing how Bama's D shut him down).
Yes, everyone knew Jordan was a decent runner and he had run on Bama previously, but Bama just didn't seem ready for his scrambling and the option plays to Ford (Ford had only carried it four times against Bama the previous year, but led LSU in rushing in the 2011 game) . Jefferson said after the game that before the game the coaches felt that Bama was not a fast sideline-to-sideline team and they wanted to use the option to exploit that. They did. Bama certainly focused on the option the 2nd time around though. I'm sure Saban told his team to look out for Jefferson running if he got into the game the first time, but since Lee had been the main guy, it appeared that Saban spent the majority of his time planning for Lee.

You're the one keeping it going right now. You didn't have to mention it at all. I appreciate you catching my mistake but it doesn't change the fact that the guy was calling people names. I'm not going to be nice to him in return. You and I have been getting along I can't imagine that you want to start something over this bullshite.
