Orgeron - I feel good about all the quarterbacks now that [Joe Burrow’s] been in

The Morning Advocate - Burrow doing work!
Orgeron “No question. We’re excited about Jonathan Giles, we’re excited about [Brandon] Fehoko, we’re excited about Joe Burrow. These guys have come in and done a tremendous job. … It’s something that we can take advantage of and hopefully we can keep most of our players.”
WHAT TO EXPECT FROM THIS YEAR'S DEFENSE
Orgeron “I think we’re going to have a [top 5] group. I feel strong about Dave Aranda. I feel strong about our defensive staff. I feel strong about our front 7. I know that we’re going to have a lot of depth. I know that Devin White, to me, is the best linebacker, probably the best defensive player in the country along with Greedy Williams. I feel that we have a strong defensive line, some young guys are gonna play. I’m excited about this football team.”
AND THE OFFENSE?
Orgeron “The guys look more confident … most of the offense is in. Obviously we’ve installed it. Obviously we’ll have to go through camp to complete the offense. We’re going to have to see who’s our starting quarterback. Obviously that’s going to be a big question mark in camp. I feel good about all the quarterbacks now that [Joe Burrow’s] been in -- he’s going to have competition there. Let the best man win. And I do believe that we’re going to have our whole offense in and we’re going to have one excellent offense. I’m so excited about the direction of our offense under Steve Ensminger.”
STATUS OF 2019 RECRUITING CLASS
Orgeron “It’s an ongoing process. I feel good about where we’re at with most of our guys. Obviously we have to finish strong; we have to do well on the football field. But as far as our relationships with the class of 2019 I feel strong, I’m involved in every one of the recruiting processes. Calling, texting mothers. Our staff has done a tremendous job. It’s been more of team effort this year on every one of our recruits, and I do believe that our staff is buying in to our recruiting philosophy, and it seems to be working.”
Update on Miles, during an appearance on Baton Rouge station WNXX-FM, 104.5, Miles said he didn't know exactly who had made a plea for 'patience', saying he'd "heard — this is kind of from ... the barbershop, if you would."

It’s crazy that we’ve been able to install 65% of our offense without practices and without direct coaching.

Obviously he feels tremendously strong about being obvious.

Burrow may not be able to recite all of the terminology but he knows LSU's new offense, it's been designed for him, but that doesn't necessarily mean another LSU QB won't flourish in it.

Top 5 defense
Best DC in the country
Hand picked OC
Buku WR talent
2- WR coaches
Brand new shiny kicker
Contend for the West and win 10 games, zerO reason we shouldn’t be a force to be reckoned with.

That entire paragraph about the offense said exactly zero.

I found this part interesting. I wonder what’s he’s referencing specifically here. Sounds like some staff wasn’t on board with how he likes to recruit?

You people are hilarious. What do you want the HC of a major football team to say? We suck, we lost to Troy, Bama, ND, and MS by a historical margin so things aren't looking so good in 2018 bc of this.
Could you imagine the venom spewed out of everyone's mouths if he had said anything close to this? Man I can't wait for this season to get under way so this can be settled one way or another. Bunch of sissy girls in this fan base.
Always complaining about something. What's sad is that even if he wins, it won't be by enough points or the complaining will still be out in full force bc many of you simply hate the man for personal reasons. Has nothing to do with his coaching ability. He did a pretty good job in his first year while having to rebuild this thing.

I think O is saying Fuch it. He knows he’s put himself in a position where he doesn’t have time to waste.
Sack up and win the West in the next 2 years or kick rocks.

You right there really isn't. Even with this schedule and all these so called Elite coaches, he should win at least 10 games with this team.
I expect nothing less and I know my confidence in him will be shaken if he can't get that done. If he tanks the year then they should be looking for another coach immediately.
