No they will not be.

I think Oregon will be tough because of the tempo they run their offense. Also it will be the first game of the year. As for talent I believe we outclass them. I also feel that our talent level will work against Oregon since it is their first game also. If we can drive the length of the field methodically and keep our D rested we could win by 20+ points IMO.

Oregon's defense is good enough to hold you to field goals in this situation. You are probably right that the strategy is the best but it won't yield a 20+ victory.

Yes they are.

LSU could easily lose. This game is all about which team will execute better.

I think that IF LSU is able to control the ball and keep the D off the field they can blow Oregon out. LSU has more speed and size than Auburn had last year on defense. Also the heat will be a factor.

The Ducks present special problems because of the pace at which they run their offense. They'll be tough, for sure, but not like going into T-town. What's more, we can lose to Oregon and run the table and still make it to New Orleans but we can't handle more than the one loss all year and still expect to make it.

I don't think you have more size and really don't think it's close. Auburn used two 260 pound ends in Carter and Eguae and rotated 4 DT that were 300 pounds. Likewise, their lb corp was much bigger. Bynes was 240 and their OLBs closer to protypical size. I think LSU d is actually going to be smaller than Oregon's.

Auburn's d was brutal against the run last year. I think it's hard to argue that. I mean LSU didn't even get 250 against them.

I don't get how everybody on the board just takes it for granted that LSU will win easily. OREGON IS FAVORED by the people who make their money gambling!

@bama and arkansas. You git to factor in those games will be later in the year and a loss to one of those could mean bye bye atlanta. Not to mention fatigue and injuries start setting in.

It is really tough to say what game will be your toughest. I think @Bama is the safest bet. Arky and Oregon are hard to say. On one hand, opening games are tough. They can be sloppy and neither team will have feel for the gameplan.

But im going on the fact of fatigue and injury. Brandon tayler prob would have made that tackle against arkansas.plus a loss for bama or ark to lsu coukd mean the end of seccg and bcs hopes. And both those teams can beat us if we are playing our best.
