Shaun Alexander just scored another TD

THIS and second isn’t even close. Dude ran by me as I headed to my car after the game…..

He was an NFL MVP. Wasn't like some other players on this list that tore us apart and did nothing the rest of their careers. To me hes in the same convo as Newton great player who had a great game against us.

This 100% when he came of the bench after we hurt there starter. Forgot who the start was that year. But as a freshman Alexander killed us by himself and a great running back was born!!

LSU would have gone to the Cotton Bowl except that Notre Dame decided very late that they would break their school rule and play in a bowl game. ND was 8-1-1. LSU was 9-1 and fully expected to be invited to play in the Cotton Bowl. Back then teams worked with bowl reps and decided who would play where. LSU had a vaunted defense and Texas had the #1 rushing team...and the matchup was greatly anticipated to determine #1....but the bowl officials couldn't help themselves and decided to invite ND and LSU was left with no bowl to play in. One of the great travesties in college football history. LSU should have played for the national title in the Cotton Bowl that year. It wasn't Archie's fault but he did beat us and made it easy for the Cotton Bowl reps.

Lots of bad memories in this thread. I'm gonna say the player I most loathe is that simp Gump OT Barrett Jones who talked about "restoring order" before the title game in '12, the game I loathe the most.

As a bonus, the SECOND worst game that sticks in my mind is the Miami of Ohio loss in 1986. We were ranked 8th... at home... and we were embarrassed beyond salvation.

Danny Weurfle.
He and Ike Hilliard destroyed us at home one year. He was placing the ball perfectly on every throw.

1984 Allen Pinckett....We were #7 and undefeated....I was in the stands amongst the Notre Dame fans and I was miserable. Hot, sweaty, and damn drunk. I was about to beat the frick outta that leprechaun bastard! Pinckett lit our asses up with 2 td's to beat us 30-22.
