The split difference goes $30 in the favor of one of them. Hardley a benefit but we'll see. The split difference doesn't bother me. I want to know if it was cash or check that links the player to the payment. Or does cliff have a corresponding draft from his bank account. However, with Cliff's track record, he probably has not have checking account. He can't pay his tickets, so why have a checking account.

Exactly, but if you looked at your bank statement (assuming it works the same as mine) it'd just show the total number of $8290. That's what I'm saying.

Yep. Two different deposits were made. Unless it was really poor communication between the reporter and her. Not that it never happens, especially on TD.

Hey if you're OT rich, wanna cut a poor college kid a check for a new car, hell I'd take a check for a couple grand at this point... And no I'm not an athlete so it wouldn't be a violation

I just don't see why Oregon even needs to do what tOSU is. I, mean, we recruited our first top 10 class last year...ever. So, why have a culture of booster gifts and impropriety. Our senior class last year put one in the NFL. We don't need these prima donnas.

Dude, if you got to nail Giselle, would you want to go back to nailing someone normal?

No, you'd do what you had to do to keep nailing Giselle.

Sorry, Tom...if you're reading.

IF they had the money and they showed her a valid license, why didn't they rent their own fricking car?

And 2..I need her to explain why she rented a car on a weekend that she didn't need? SHe let them re-rent it from her? Even though he paid for it, it is still a benefit cause it is something he couldn't rent on his own (invalid license)

Seriously, if she re-rented it to them, why did she rent it in the first place....over $100 per night and she was not going to use it?

ps who in the hell pays htat much for a rental car??? Its like $40 in most towns.

Bottom line......this guy is fricked and Oregon will take action immediately to keep the NCAA out of their arse!

All this back and forth talk makes good reading. Not! We could just all wait and see what the penalty will be. Either way, as North Carolin proved minus a hand full of NFL draft picks, they gave LSU all it could handle. After rewatching the Arkansas game a few minutes ago, I remembered how pathetic or if you would rather, anemic our offense was last year. And Arkansas moved the ball on our powerful defense. This is going to be a tough game. With or without this one little fella.

that's easy, because in most states you have to be 25 to rent a car, obviously if he's playing college football he's not 25 yet.

21 with a fee. Or if you're bright enough to go to Hertz.com they have a big ad displaying a discount code for 21-24 yr old drivers to waive the fee.

They aren't old enough. Cliff is 20. That is why someone else rents the car.

It's not a benefit because he paid for it. However, it's against Hertz policy, I am sure.

A Nissan Maxima would cost much more than 40 night. That gets you a geo.

for a full-size car on the west coast, its easily $79 plus taxes and fees.

A 3 day rental last week for me after my 20% discount was $262

Well that makes it a bit more interesting, but I can still see reasons for having someone else rent it for you. For example, don't you need a credit card to rent one? That may not be true, but I thought it was?
