Does it say a CASH deposit? I miss that if it specifically mentions cash.

If you take two cash payments to the bank (120 and 180) they will show ONE amount of 300 bucks, not two different.

I thought it did, but even if not, why make two separate deposits anyways? If they paid you at the same time why not use one deposit slip? Still a little fishy

Let's think about this for a second.

The players are up in portland in a parade. They want to stay up there longer. Cliff has a friend that is over 25 and can rent a car. He suggests that she rents it and they pay her back, so that it's not a benefit. She pays for the car, collects payment from the TWO of them, and deposits it in the bank as two seperate deposits. These players are educated on what a benefit is. It's also within reason that this was done legit. I am also not naive to beleive that foul play goes on in football.

This can't be. She had already rented the car for personal reasons, according to her.

This was your exact quote: nah he prob is in jail. Just oregon fans talking out their arse and really are clueless. I never said it wasn't a big deal. I am saying that it was a citation and he was booked and arrested. Those are facts.

First off, i was responding to the poster who responding to me about going 25 over. I was just stating that 25 over anywhere is jail time. He was saying he was going like 40 over. I said he was prob in jail, which he is not. And the clueless part was about the fact that you did say it wasnt a big deal. Cus he wasnt going 25 or 40 over, he went 53 over on a suspended license.

Ok answer the question that has been asked many times, if they paid her 180+120 IN CASH. Why are there two separate deposits? Last time I checked banks lump all cash together as one deposit

What if it is a deposit in petty cash like quarters when they were at an illegal gambling house?

My guess, as a former banker, is that it's one deposit slip with two checks.

Seriously, why would you schedule LSU if you're an OOC school? Has this hex not been proven to be 100% real?!!!??

I'd be surprised if this issue really got any bigger; and I'd be shocked if CK suspended him at all. However, we don't need need him for game 1. We have several guys that can return the ball well and we are stacked at CB like LSU. Not to mention LSU runs the ball like 75% of the time and our backup corners weigh more and would be better against the run.

Not you but a diff oregon poster. This is him talking out his arse.

Then your first reaction is that 7tward is a troll.
Then you post this.
quote:

No. I believe there are consequences for breaking the rules. I also don't speak for Oregon. We'll see what rules were broken. I would support a suspension as a fan. I just don't know if a citation is going get him suspended. That is what we know so far.

Rules were broken, you dont speak for oregon, yet you come on this borad and represent and speak for oregon. Then you say you would support a suspension, then say you dont think he will. So you are just as clueless about the situation as anyone else.

Uhh that's still only one deposit, the only chance they show up as two deposits is if there were two deposit slips

If that is what you intended to mean. I take your word for it. However, you said nah bro he probably in jail. Oregon fans talking out of their arse. You can see how those two sentences might be linked in the reader's mind.

However, I will take your word for it.

As far as harris goes, his talent is undeniable. However, he is not a well balanced player. He is a highly instinctual cover corner with a knack for the big play.

A deposit slip can show two items.

Edited: I read the article and she says her bank statement shows two deposits. So, that means she wen to the bank twice. What does all that mean? Who knows?

I have said 17-14 LSU because it will basically be a home game.

I know, but what I'm saying is that it still will usually show up as one deposit. I'll use a personal example, back when I graduated HS I had several checks to deposit at the same time, I listed 4 of them on one deposit slip that totaled about $400. When I checked my bank account later it showed 1 deposit of 400 not 4 separate deposits of individual checks

Yeah, I edited my post to say that it was two deposits on the bank statement. Maybe they paid her at different times? It's all a little unclear from the little we were given.

I posted on educk that it seems a little dubious when I first read the article. However, you could also see how this may look a lot worse than it is.

I agree, but you have to admit that it could be something pretty serious. The two deposit slips seem a little fishy to me, also the split. If two players are paying her back for the car why is it not split 50/50?

When I make a bank deposit the receipt/slip looks like this:

4 Checks: $8168.00
1 - $123.00
2 - $45.00
1 - $8000.00

Cash: $122.00
1 - $100
1 - $20
2 - $1

Total deposits check and cash: $8290.00
