The car wasn't $100/day. The deposit was $300 I'll bet. She also voided her contract with rental co by allowing unauthorized drivers. If car was damaged or not running well she should have switched. Obviously the car was for the guys all along.
Also, I doubt they found some random employee to do this. This is probably not the first time it has happened either. Not a big deal, but enough to bring investigative attention to a program that doesn't need it.

I laugh at the level of hopefulness that Cliff Harris will have to sit out this game. Did he murder someone? Did he rape someone? Did he commit burglary? Did he beat up someone? Did he take a bribe? Was he even arrested? Notta. In Oregon you pay a big fine for speeding over 100. Traffic infraction gentleman, nothing more, nothing less. Cliff will not have to sit out this game.

As for the girl renting the car. She rented a car because her car had broke down and she needed to make a trip. Her male friends talked her into letting them come along for her trip and them dropping her off along the way and them continuing to use/rent the car for a few more days after that.
This is the biggest story I have seen about nothing. If Cliff Harris had not been a All American and if he had not done over the magic 100mph figure, this all would of been a non story on ESPN and on here.

bullshite. Cliff Harris is too poor to even pay off his previous fines that is why his license was suspended. Oregon just passed a new law a few years ago that if you go over 100, you also get your license suspended. Big deal. His already was. And in Oregon they do not issue warrants for petty stuff like traffic infractions. You only do not get your license back until you pay those fines.
Most of the Oregon players are too poor to even own cars. You do not even have a clue what you speak about. Just because tOSU had become like the SEC is not our problem.
I do fault Cliffy for one thing though. What in the world was he doing trying to set speed records in a Altima? He should of just borrowed my Beemer.

If he is too poor to pay his previous fines, how did he pay the lady so promptly for the rental car?
I believe it was 2 separate payments of over $100 bucks each. Most poor people can't come up with kind of cash quickly.

Possibly true.....in our state, driving under suspension is one of those 'fine lines' between a traffic offense and a criminal offense.
The only, ONLY reason this has peaked my attention is due to the Terrell Pryor incident; receiving items/gifts for 'services'. Where were the coaches to make certain these kids' focus remains on their education and athletic ability? This was bone-head, and I'm glad a Louisiana student hasn't done such....yet.
Some people are intelligent, some are athletic....few are both.
