If Jimbo Fisher had been hired at LSU in 2016 and his results today mirror Orgeron's, there's no chance that this board looks anything like it does today.

bullshite first of all, but even if, he’s getting 7.5 million for 10 years, O is getting 4 million for 4 years.

So O’s standards are lower than Jimbo because his salary is lower?

O is always a world champion in the summer time. If only the season could stop there, he could keep his job forever and the O fans would be happy.

In the Winter time, O had the Final AP #6 program.

If O can stay around #6 or above, I'd guess he'll keep his job a long while.

To deny the LSU program trending upward right now is intellectually dishonest.

No matter trending or not if we don't score double digit points on Bama and more like >20 and/or beat Bama we have not gotten anywhere in 3 years. We need to beat Texas and show we can score on Bama if not we are still in need of better coaching. I'm all in on CEO but this year he has to prove it on the field especially in November.

I agree.

He's got us positioned to do so.

I think so to, except possibly the OL. If DT's are as good as I think then defense barring injury will be exceptional.
We have to get more out of the redzone passing game on offense.

Happens every single year. Cognitive dissonance is strong on here.

Orgeron is in a protected class and must be handled with kid gloves.

Our new AD gives him 2 years tops to win the west and SEC. After 2020 we will have a new head coach. Urban Meyer?

The overwhelming majority are fairly neutral. The few Negas on here are eaten up with some delusional fantasies though. It's a huge victim complex

It’s not unfounded. He was handed the keys to a new Ferrari after crashing the Civic he was given before.

Until he wins the west/beats Bama he will continue to get said criticism.
