I would also put Lafell over Shay Hodge. But I'm biased.

Yeah, you are.

Hodge - 63 catches, 1023 yards, 16.2 avg, 8 td's
LaFell - 52 catches, 705 yards, 13.6 avg. 10 td's

Is is possible that PP could make 1st Team All-American? If he does, it would show what a joke this list is.

All-SEC team is a hype contest.

Nothing more.

Hence Arenas over Peterson and Black over...well...some other LT who didn't get blown off the line all year.

I have no problem with that list. Arenas played very well this season, Peterson might have him by a slight margin, but when your team is playing for the national championship.. you'll get the benefit of the doubt.

PP - 38 solos, 9 assist, 47 total, 2 int's, 15 passes broken up, 15 passes defended

Arenas - 43 solos, 23 assists, 66 total, 3 int's, 4 passes BU, 7 pd

Haden - 48 solos, 14 assists, 62 total, 4 int's, 9 passes bu, passes defended not listed

Arenas and Haden played one more game than PP. Also, we all know PP had 3 int's.

It's obvious they went with the guys on the top 2 teams. Arenes being a good return man helped (even if it shouldn't).

Just proves we have more talent than anyone else and Miles is wasting it while here at LSU.

Look at the players on the 2nd team line. None of them are better than CB. It's that simple.
And FWIW PP not making first team is a joke. KS should have made at least 2nd team IMO.

Haven't looked at the stats and I agree with Leigh Tiffen...but is the UGA kicker better than Josh Jasper? Don't know...just asking.

BIG TIME!!! If he decided to come out, he would be a top 10 pick....possibly top-5 IMO.
