Scathing is the only word to describe that article properly.

Post the text, not the article. The more clicks, the more it gains traction

LSUs problem is worrying about the national media and perceptions.

Anybody who has been around for the last three coaches being fired knows LSU does not care about national media. We’ve taken a beating in the media with each firing.

This happens every time LSU has a coaching change. Coaches play hard to get so they can get that “Jimbo” money……it’s psychological warfare and yall are hurting LSU’s chances by buying into to this mindsight that coaches won’t come here unless they get big dollars….,.because the state government is so corrupt and bad…..blah, blah, blah….

THE ONLY OUTLIER WOULD BE COACH O…….

Ed Orgeron won a national championship there. Les Miles won one and nearly two. Enough said.

I love this passive-aggressive way of calling Ed and Leslie dipshits...

You’re not understanding the post. Miles, Saban and Orgeron were not splash hires. In the past 10-15 years we’re always trying to copy someone or steal someone else’s work. Everything we need is here, you just need a between the lines football coach. These fantasy resumes and obsession with hiring hype is a fools errand. LSU needs to be its own thing with its own identity. Stop trying to be like programs you’re not and don’t need to be. Day and Kirby had zero HC resumes before they were hired and they have the two best programs in the country over the past 5+ years. If you had suggested one of these guys for LSU prior to their current posts the fans would have laughed at you and called you an absolute idiot.

Yeah, he was the beat writer for Tennessee in a paper owned by USA Today. Not exactly a neutral party.

You better believe they do…we all read it and they do as well. They read this board, too.

Yahoo sports???? Who gives a frick about that shite

Yahoo Sports is the third-most-read online sports site, behind the Bleacher Report and ESPN.

Whether or not we agree with the author, this report will be out there and a lot of college sports people will read it.

It's time for LSU to man up, pay the contract, and do damage control.
