Why all the crazy Gruden love? He won a SuperBowl with Tony Dungy's defense playing against his (Gruden's) old offense. Les Miles has accomplished more than Gruden.

I'd take any of those guys but I think jimbo and kelly are pipe dreams.
I don't get why people dislike Mullen. I hate how people can't separate the coach from the school

I understand offensively he is very bright minded. He has not coached in 8 YEARS. He was fired from Tampa a few years after winning the SB with someone else's roster. How would that translate to being a successful college coach now. NFL coach I think he would be good. He can take a QB that has 3 to 4 years of college experience and make them really great at the NFL level. Could he take a HS QB and do the same? I don't think he would be able to do that. Not a knock on him but a knock on the learning capacity of an 18 yr old kid who is not fully mentally developed. Gruden would have to shorten his teaching not only by playbook but by time. Only allowed 20 hours a week and not available during the summer to coach.

I don't get the Mullen hate either. He's at the right age and has a good record of developing quarterbacks. He took the cowbells to the #1 ranking in the middle of the season. I'd love to see what he could do with our talent and recruiting base. He'd cost about $5 million I'd imagine but I'm all for it.

John Gruden is not coming to Baton Rouge to coach at LSU. Why in the hell would he leave is cushy ESPN job? And how do you know he could adapt to the college game?

They've been awfully competitive for having no good skill players outside of Dak. He basically takes scraps from what other SEC schools don't want and plays competitive football
