Can someone please explain why WR production was so poor this year compared to 2020 and 2021?

We f***** won the West and played in the SEC championship after having 40 scholarship players in last year’s miserable bowl game. But by all means keep coming up with insane narratives.

Did pretty good against Southern, though. We know how strong that D is.

Didn’t win those games because of him that’s for sure I agree. We were very lucky to win 9 games this year now looking back at it.

Simple, it wasn’t

Passing yards per game went up in 2022. It’s just that Peetz had absolutely no offensive imagination, so he force-fed our number 1 target every game… this resulted in great stat lines for the top guy, but a terrible offense overall

Sounds eerily familiar.

Daniels was better this year than Burrow's first year at LSU.

Nabors seemed to get open at times... not sure why others didn't try harder.

Our leading WR had 300 more yards than last year.

The answer is we actually god our RBs and TEs involved in the passing game but we did throw 2660/3401 passing yards to WRs.

Last year it was 3096/3307

The idea that WRs aren’t being thrown the ball is dumb.

Daniels was 3rd in the conference in passing attempts and completions.

The issues were 1. Timing issues taking away catch and run opportunities and 2. Daniels refusing to throw deep.

Also Daniels averaged as many yards per attempts as Johnson.

You don’t know what you’re talking about. You asked why wr production was worse I explained to you that rushing for 1,000 more yards will do that since you were too stupid to come to that conclusion on your own.

Jayden literally marched down the field opening drive vs Georgia. Had a lot of success early moving the ball in that game actually. And you conveniently left out the Florida, Ole Miss and Bama games where he played lights out.

You also seem to believe that a 22 yr old qb who will have the same OC in back to back seasons for the first time in his career can’t improve witch is moronic.

So Daniel’s in his 4th year starting was better than Burrow in his 1st year starting. Well that’s encouraging.

Yeah, you right. It was always the OC's fault
Some of you guys are so ignorant of football that you can't see the forest for the trees. Stick with mediocrity, you are good at it.

Very fortunate to win those games in spite of how bad he played. The defense played great and was the reason they won. HP40 was the reason LSU won against Arky.

That was our offense, and starting with Arky, then A&M and then Ga, we couldn’t score

A lot of what you wrote I agreed with but then you said Georgia. We had no issues at all marching up and down the field on Georgia. We had that wild fluke pick and that field goal return where everybody stopped playing. Those two plays don’t happen and that’s a one score game

I think the answer is a difference in QB play, not necessarily a difference in QB, but in the play of the QB. No problems with the QB in 2022 at all.

All you baws make good points. So I'm thinking, "how did this happen?" Apparently because the head coach made a poor choice. So what's the solution? You baws want him fired?

I mean if his QB choice is so bad, then why keep him around? What makes you think he'll be better next year?

Dump his happy arse and hire someone that throws the ball every play.

Who?

You mean the QB that came in to a total rebuild and lead his team to the SECW title? That guy?
