Why do you say Les gave up in 3rd qtr.?
LSU could have thrown the ball down field and scored TDs the way they did against Penn State. Will Les Miles get fired because of this 20 yr. trajedy!

You know how everybody has the nightmare where they're either running from something or somebody and ultimately get stuck, or running as fast as they can but moving extremely slow or the legs just don't work? Sometimes it's that you go to shoot a gun and it jams, or you have a one time shot to throw a punch and you miss. It's different but the same common theme.
Well, that nightmare came to life on Jan 9th, 2012.

Ditto. Most people i know are upset about the loss because it seemed like the offensive game was poorly coached. The coaches did not execute and just gave up. Could have handled the loss, if coaches would have exhausted every idea. You can tell us that was all they could come up with!

not to mention not going 2 minute O late. not to mention he ran and PUNTED late. if that is not the definition of giving up i really do not know what is then.It was vile and pathetic on all levels. you go down swinging. we did not even swing.

If we had made a game out of and lost and wouldn't have been as bad.

once again... you and many others are wrong.
no matter how you spin it.
we quit / surrendered
we did not use all of our weapons
we did not prepare as we should have
we did not give it our all
end of story

Drop the "we" and put Miles' name on it.
Miles quit
Miles did not use all his weapons
Miles did not prepare as he should have
Miles did not give it his all
Many of the players gave it their all, but weren't backed up by their head coach.

May not be true if the BCS goes to the 4 or 8 team playoff.......just sayin.....

We got manhandled and arse-kicked, that's why!!!

Never seen a LSU time dead and quit the way that one was that night.

Not really. We were so upset because the execution of the coaches was an utter failure. Lose a tough, close hard fought game where we played well and I guarantee you few would have been upset.

is this the new official whiny bitchfest thread? can we just keep all the dumbassery in here then? thanks

Which type because there are two types: one type is this thread. The other type are the threads complaining about how LSU fans are reacting.

Miles quit.
That is the reason why my Bama friends aren't boasting as loudly as they have in the past
That is the reason almost all of my LSU friends aren't boasting about the 13-1 season, or being SEC champs
That is the reason for the speculation about players and recruits leaving
That is the reason Miles is back to being a 'goof'
Les Miles quit. And it sucks for the Tiger faithful, who never remotely considered that an undefeated Tiger team would do that

NOBODY likes losing...but when you lose that ugly it hurts alot more!
And yes, losing to Nick and the Bammers made it harder to take!

If you lose in the trench, nothing is going to work.
Not even General Lee.
