Yeah that was a really puzzling and just awful move. Never a fan of giving up outs. Especially considering we had Dups at the plate, not like it was Hal.

You frickers cry all the time because he doesn't bunt.

To bad he doesn't have hindsight like us fans do.

You have not fricking once heard me cry about not bunting. Bunting is fricking archaic and dumb. Especially when Paul decides it is a good time to bunt.

Y’all are so ignorant to the game. You are absolutely bunting in that situation. Duplantis knows how to bunt and the goal is to move that runner over into scoring position. Percentage says bunt in that situation and it was the right call but it was just a bad bunt by Duplantis. You’re not always going to call the right call in baseball. That’s just how it goes sometimes

False.

Duplantis knows how to hit. Awful decision Paul

Duplantis knows how to do anything you tell him to do. He’s that type of player

Right decision to bunt but terrible execution by Dups!

No. You're not. It is called situational hitting and Duplantis is one of the best to ever do it at LSU.

It didn’t matter anyways. The walk negated the piss poor bunt attempt....

That bunt miss isnt PM’s fault...

I agree he should have swung, but I dont see it as a bad call.

Hit and run if anything. If not, swing away.

Throwing his bat at the ball indicates otherwise.

I disagree. A lefty with Duplantis’s speed isn’t an automatic bunt in that situation. I’ve never been a fan of bunting a lefty when they can pull the ball and hit behind the runner. That’s baseball though

He is literally the Les Miles of baseball. Offensive mindset stuck in the 1980s.

He is great at hitting between 1st and 2nd and he bunts him on the first pitch.. just stupid coaching. I could see faking a bunt but that was just retarded

Dupes should know how to bunt. It’s the right call. Do they practice it enough

It should never have been called to begin with. Period. You dont take away an opportunity from your most consistent hitter.
