Any possibility we line him up at QB for some wildcat snaps like Oklahoma did with Blake Bell? I see a lot of similarities between he and Bell. Both big bulldozers, and Liggins is probably slightly quicker

I'd much rather Hilliard be doing the power running for first downs and RS doing wildcat snaps.

Agreed, but it would give our O some versatility and excitement. I could see him consistently gaining 3-5 yards by plowing straight ahead, and if he gets some space he could possibly shake off a tackler. Our offense needs some color, a change of pace.

much rather mett get more snaps and have more of a rhythm with the offense instead of more crap that can bring confusion to the offense which happens a lot.

We've been asking if we'd run the wildcat with a athletic guy for what seems to be the past 4 years. I don't think it's coming folks.

The only time I can ever remember us running a wildcat look was in Georgia when Shep faked it to Holiday and kept it himself and almost broke a TD.

Hopefully Mett's offense will be a whole lot more effective than the JJ offense. If so, we won't need liggins to jump in. If nothing changes, though....

1) everybody says that, he knows hes not going to play next year

2) Linebackers are not 290 pounds, if he moved positions it would be to dline but stop trying to move this kid before he even touches a football here sheesh. Hes a QB, deal with it.

Yea, this dude needs to be handed a playbook and a diet to follow until the spring of 2013. Any actual time he gets with a football is a bonus.

We ran it at Mississippi St in 2009 with Charles Scott as the motion man.

Having Liggins just brings more depth to our QBs really. He's not the type of QB I personally wanted for this class but I know he is a very talented, athletic guy.. Maybe he will stay at QB but not real sure that will happen. IDK if he'll stay there but if he does I think we could def use him like Bell from Oklahoma but in a wildcat situation I wanna see Jerrard Randall in there.

I think once Liggins gets into the program and Moffit gets him in there they will cut some serious weight off him. Heard he was 290 at his visit last week!!! Needs to drop 25 ish pounds if so!

Either way the kid seems like a leader from what I've heard and I'm glad we get some QB depth. If he doesn't workout at QB he's athletic enough to more around somewhere and maybe make some plays elsewhere..

If he's a legit 6'3" 290 lbs , he needs to drop 40 lbs easy, and possibly 50, to play QB in this league.

We've run about two wildcat plays in the last two years, and you think we're gonna start doing that for a 290 lb. QB/DE.

With Liggins... I see some Rohan. Looking to pass first but if things break down, big enough to shake off a D-lineman and scramble for the first. With that being said, he'll be redshirted this year. Has to wait his time.

I've heard Crowton, Les and Stud say that they considered Jordan the wildcat QB. basically, they could still get the sweep action from Shep (or whomever), the running threat from the QB in JJ, but also with a better passer (I know, I know) than what other teams stuck back there.

we ran 2 plays vs. MSU in 09 with Shep from a wildcat look. and by that I mean with a sweep man. I don't consider direct snaps to Shep "wildcat".

A true freshman will not take precious snaps away from 3 other QB s ahead of him. Don't be sillily.
