That post had nothing to do with him. Again, why are you so terrible at this?

My opinion on Cushenberry was based off of the spring game. He didn’t have a very good showing. Like i said before, I was wrong and glad I was wrong. My opinion had zero to do about whether he was a 3* or 5*. Once you get to campus all that goes out the window. I will say I think most fans expect more from a 5* guy than they do a 3*.

well that penalty was on third and long and kept the drive alive - which ended in a TD.

It was a VERY important (and yes, boneheaded) penalty that almost cost us the game.

“ I know what I saw last year and it wasn’t bad coaching.”

When your AD has to have a meeting with your coaches because they can’t work on the same page or even get along and when your offense turns out to be even less productive that the guy we fired for not having a good enough O ......you got something bad going on.

Even this yr the O is struggling to be better than 2015, but cause we are winning and Coach E is a La guy....some are willing to over look those struggles when they couldn’t do that B 4. Go figure

Our QB play is vastly better than 2015 and is improving. I'm not willing to overlook anything. It's you morons who overlook. We had a a second and 3rd year QB in that system in 2015, which is a huge difference from what we have this year.

So you're actually telling me that you don't see a vast difference from Burrow to Jennings and Harris? LMAO. I swear some of you have no brains, don't know football or you're simply blinded by your hate.

“ no brains”

I have enough brains to know that neither Jenning or Harris have played quarterback for LSU recently.

I also have enough brains to know that an offense is not just about the QB. You want to talk about a quarterback, I want to talk about Whether or not the offense is productive.

I am overall happy with the play of Joe, but that doesn’t negate the fact that the offense is struggling. I don’t see how anyone can look at our numbers after three games and not agree with that, but each to our own.

Because I recognize the struggles that our offense is happening, it doesn’t follow that I hate coach O, Coach E or anyone else. As long as we keep winning, I’m perfectly willing to wait and see if the offense can come around.

I'ms o fricking tired of trying to justify the Troy loss. It makes it impossible to take anything you say seriously.

First of all IDG2F's what you're tired of.

quote:

OR we could look to the facts that we lost almost all of our offensive production, replaced our OC with someone that hasn't done it for a long time, have a brutal schedule, etc.

Something that happens every year with every team. LSU lost their QB, RB, and 2 OLman. LSU also replaced the QB with someone at least equal by all accounts from EVERYONE! LSU upgraded OL depth with JUCO players who have provided some of that depth and very good HS players. Hines/Lewis.

It's was well known in the offseason that Cush was doing quite well IF you had any inside info at all. This board doesn't count, it's trash and the rumors that start here are freakn funny. No the players actually play some of you guys and the media purposely. Frankly so do teenagers in HS, especially the ones from BR and N.O. I know this for a fact!

The rumors start anyway so they start them many many many times then come running over here to watch the show. Many of y'all fall for it EVERY single time. And they do pay close attention to this board. Some don't but many do. Most local guys know not to take it seriously but when it starts spilling over into the media regionally, it can affect our recruiting somewhat.

quote:

The end of the year was losing a shitty game to ND that we had no business losing.

ND is a well coached team that is in the top ten?? WTF?? You're an idiot that just hates Orgeron and you seriously need help.

quote:

If that makes you feel better about it, sure. Last year was chock full of bad coaching from September to through the bowl game.

What makes me feel better is knowing how off you cowards were and how I've believed in my Tigers the whole way. I was still critical when it's deserving and there were some mistakes made last year but he's since corrected them. He learned a lot in his first year about what it takes and made the moves to produce.

Mistakes.
not hiring Ensminger from word go, not hiring a full time ST coach, possibly going too light on the players in preseason camps and not making sure that the team had leaders emerge in the preseason.

No ones perfect and he sure seems to be a much better game day coach than Les Miles. The players he's recruiting seem to be much tougher than what Miles brought in. His game day management is light years better. He's gotten much better in his second year as HC at LSU and is learning more and more every year. The man is paying close attention to everything. He wanted more TOs and sacks. We producing. He wanted better QB play. We producing and improving. Our OL is responding. Everyone seems to be on the same page as a staff which is something he wanted. It looks like he's taking the bull by the horns and is producing a very good product.

You're way too emotionally invested in this Ain't no one reading that wall of excuses for losing to Troy and getting blasted by State while somehow being "well coached"

ETA And of course there's a Miles jab at the end. You people are so predictable.

This is your quote bringing up the 2015 offense not me. When you do that you have to know that it's a vastly different time at LSU. Burrow has been here for 3 months and Steve is installing something new here. I apologize for the language, I'm not used to capable people here. You seem decent.

quote:

I also have enough brains to know that an offense is not just about the QB. You want to talk about a quarterback, I want to talk about Whether or not the offense is productive.

Fair enough, it is about the entire offense, you're correct but again QB play is highlighted bc of our recent long history with this position, which seems to be improving at this time.

I am overall happy with the play of Joe, but that doesn’t negate the fact that the offense is struggling. I don’t see how anyone can look at our numbers after three games and not agree with that, but each to our own.

Again right on. It seems like we're in the same boat. I'm not 100% happy or satisfied with this offense. It's a work in progress but I have to admit I see progress from previous seasons here. I think we'll see a 22-30 type of game from Burrow and the offense this week. I also think this LSU team should throw the ball 40 times a game. It's just that type of offense this year and they will get better with more game reps. Good talking to someone calm and with some sense for a change. Not argue everything for the sake of arguing.

You can just keep holding on to your terrible preseason predictions, hoping that you’ll be proven right at some point.

When youd rather be right then see your team do good. That’s kinda sad but not surprising you’re holding on to a thread in an argument

Sure pal... I'm not the one making no sense here. That'll be you. Making up excuses is something you seem to be practiced in. I'm just stating facts and that bothers you so you make up little quirky statements to deflect. Keep trying bud.

What were my terrible preseason predictions again? I had us around 9-3.
