yep. To use a positive, i.e. Cush exceeding expectations, as a message board prompt/weapon/point for argument turns that positive into a negative. Because it is about the poster, and whom it is directed against.... NOT about Cush exceeding expectations.

It is a very effective way to turn a real life positive into a message board negative.

I think it was that and that he was a very late addition to the class. An after thought just to fill in for some recruiting misses.

That just put people in the mindset he was just here for depth and probably would never be a starter. He just put in the work and developed more and faster than was expected and with Clapp leaving the door quickly opened for him

I didn't fall for it either. He looked ok last season when he got PT and ok in the spring game. Good reports from camp on him. Plus that he was named the starter so quickly put me to believe he was not going to be a weak link.

If he had been a 5 star named Rock Steel the fans would’ve declared him an all American based on the same performance given by Cushenberry

They have zero room to talk. Zero. If anyone is the problem it's these idiots who posted all offseason about how terrible the program has become. Boy were they freakn off base. They're a lot like Spears and his comments but much worse bc they say it all day everyday. Then they wonder why we lose out on 5*s like Emery. Frick these clowns. I'll never have respect for them. They're all lost to me. I won't even respond to them, simply below me.

I will surely let them know who they truly are, every chance I get. They need to be reminded daily and for any entire 2 years. This won't stop bc they won't give it up. Until they repeatedly admit they were completely bias and had no clue where this program was when people bring it up, frick them all.

They sure as hell didn't mind repeatedly telling everyone how bad of a coach we had, how he was running it into the ground, how he wasn't getting the job done in recruiting, how embarrassed they were at every turn, how there was no way we could win with him, how bad every hire he made was, how badly he handled things last year, how it's bc of him that we weren't respected and on and on and on. It was so damn tiresome that I finally just came to the conclusion that it was pure hate for him and that they would prefer to see our program fail then to see him succeed. I truly believe that for many here that's a fact.

Until we all repeatedly hear the opposite of what we did this offseason from the same people, like the LSU players and O said in the locker room, FRICK THEM and STTDB!
