Are we talking about the radio guy who is now opening businesses with all the money he bilked from folks around town through that GameCoin scam he was pimping and knowingly lying about for years?

And this is the main reason the recruits are waiting to sign. The loyalty of a 17 year old kid isn’t very solid these days. They can say “LSU LSU” all day on twitter but it’s usually a position coach they are loyal to at best.

Holding on to coordinators will be tough for LSU when your hiring the best.

Charlie Weis: As I mentioned last night USF is going to be trying to land him. It’s a very similar situation to Baker. If offered he’s going to go in my opinion.
Brian Hartline to USF. Looks like Weis will be OC.

Charlie Weis Jr would leave LSU getting paid 2+ million a year as OC to go to USF to cut his salary in half for the same position?

He was already their OC in 2020 then got promoted to Lanes OC at Ole Miss. Would make zero sense to go backwards.

or am I misreading and you are saying he will stay and remain our OC?

I believe what he is saying is that Weiss was a risk for the USF job but, since he did not yet that job, it looks like he will remain LSU's OC.

Look, if you are a coordinator and want to jump straight to a SEC coordinator job, like Baker might want to do, all you have to do is go 2 years more at LSU to pad your resume and then the R-Kansas job is going to be open again.

Your open ended prediction, if this than that, on Weiss was incorrect, although you could just spin it.

Let's see how your Baker if this than that prediction fares...

Weiss Jr was being considered as a head coach candidate there. Now the job is filled.

OM is going to throw a massive bag at him to stay there (make him the highest paid OC). I don't know how binding our agreement with him is if they will have to pay a buyout.

Last I saw this morning was Baker and his family really love LSU and BR. He is torn and they are guessing it’s 50/50 between LSU and the Tulame offer. I imagine $2 mil a year more goes a long way though. I’m prepared to be disappointed lol
