Oregons strength is their offense, which hasn't seen a defense remotely close to as good as ours. Add their pretty weak defense and our so so offense scores about 28 on them keeping their offense off of the field. When they do see the field our massive D holds them to 14.

Their offense is impressive, but they play against some crap defenses

They could have scored 60 against us easy and they were out of sync for the first half. LSU was good for 17. I know you can't take Team A played Team B better than Team C. But I've seen both teams in person LSU vs. UNC, LSU vs. Tennessee and Tennessee vs. Oregon. The teams are not close. Oregon is much better than LSU.

What a good play call.

See Gary, that's called a screen pass. You call it when the defense is rushing straight up the field.

Why is it when the team somebody cheers for is winning its always: WE would do this and WE can do that...but the minute the team starts fricking up it's always THEY couldn't do this and THEY couldn't do that?

We beat Tennessee by a fluke at home. They scored 40 in a half on the road.

Not sure what logic this is.

They have one of the worst defenses I have ever seen in college football. However they have a great offense but it seems to only be great because they dont let you stop and change plays and personel. Its a gimick offense that is just working because people dont know what to do against them.

Thomas would not have 12.5 seconds to throw every pass.

No you dominated most of the game to be fair. Still, Oregon did every single thing better than LSU against Tennessee except stop the run.

While I agree we would have a hard time beating them, I would never buy into the national media hype that takes place every. single. year.

Insert Pac-10 team here is the best team in the nation.

One week later they get beat by Arizona State.

Ultimately, it's a gimmick system offense.

We would shut down the run ike we did Ga Tech's even more impressive '08 offense and make Thomas pass his way to win.

And PP7 & Co would have a field day.

I think they're smaller than WVU's team.

This. I can think of at least three SEC teams, LSU one of them, that would shut down the O offense and just steamroll over the defense.
