Younger guys who might actually contribute to the team next year are playing. The older guys, who aren’t very good and won’t be on the team next year aren’t playing. In a lost season, that might be the best case scenario.. as much as it sucks for those older guys.
I will clarify: I’m referencing the number of players that have gotten injured, not this specific injury to Serna. Obviously I do not want Serna to be injured.

I was speaking to the number of guys that have gotten injured. I know it sounds brutal, but trotting out guys like Braun, Patrick, and Ruckert is better than Simpson, Caraway, and Yorke. You can disagree and that’s fine, but part of the reason some of these younger guys have gotten more PT is because of injuries and that could help us next year.

I’m not sure if you missed the post in which I said I’m referring to the number of players that have been injured, but I’ll saying it again. I was referencing the number of position players that have gotten injured through the season.
