Oregon olineman talks Florida/LSU trench battle.

Long listen, but good info on line play from an All Pac 12 player.

Extremely interesting about what he said in regards to our pass protection schemes being so overly conservative. Things he said about our D-line I think are already well known.

Thought his analysis of UF was pretty accurate. If you've watched their games against UT and A&M, their center really really stands out. Dude is a stud. But, other than that, I'd agree with him we should get a lot of pressure on the happy-footed Driskel

Yeah. Definitely curious to see if the 7/8 man protection scheme was just a precaution for Mett's first road game or if they think protection/getting the ball out is a legit problem. My guess is that unless absolutely necessary, we see max protect.

Was reassuring to here him say that they handled Auburn throughout the game.

Very interesting that he said Driskell was an oline nightmare and that UF had trouble picking up AtM blitzes. All UT did the 2nd half was blitz and UF cut them up

Dead on..... Now if we could only slip our tight ends out behind the blitz and throw a traditional rb screen every now and then we will be good!!!!!

interesting stuff, but I'm wondering how much of the Auburn game he really watched, esp. if he was focused on the line play. he's saying stuff like Mett didn't get touched by AU's d and that clearly wasn't the case.

That's the same thing I was thinking when I heard that.

I did enjoy listening to his perspective on things though. "Their center Harrison is a dude."

I haven't seen UF play much this year, but his breakdown of their pass protection makes them sound leaky. Hopefully we can open the floodgates!!

This guy will never work for ESPN. He's too smart. Great analysis.

We switched to max protect after we went empty backfield on 3rd and 3 and JD got smoked off the line leading to the Mett fumble. Our scheme went very conservative after that.
