LSU will be in the same spot if they win 2 of 3 at home against Auburn next weekend.

And a rain out kept lsu from sweeping them out of the postseason.

Wtf are you talking about? Ole Miss swept LSU in 2022. If LSU won even one of those games they probably don’t make the tournament

Ole Miss did go 7-2 the rest of the way with two sweeps and squeaked into a regional. So, not just pride, but I'm gonna watch with one eye closed and pray.

Well hopefully we sweep this weekend and then only have to go 6-3 the rest of the way. If they’re ever going to do it it’s this weekend.

Ole Miss was 6-24 the year after they won the championship. State was 9-21 the year after they won the championship. NC hangovers are real.

Craziest stat I have seen is, since 2022, you guys are 26-53 in conference games/SEC tourney, but 10-1 in the postseason with a natty.

Are you retarded? LSU didn’t even win a game in the series. Do you know what sweep means? They weren’t even close to sweeping Ole Miss.

Damn dude. Sometimes people just get their years mixed up. It'll be ok.

Hate to rain on your parade, but Ole Miss had some serious key injuries to major players during the season that year. Everybody got healthy towards the end of the season. When they swept LSU, they were at major strength and were an ultra talented team. There’s a reason why Jay said Ole Miss was the most talented and best team LSU faced after they swept us.

Totally different scenario from us this year.

Does it make any difference if players return from injury or wakeup from their funk? At the end of the day your team is playing good ball.

Ummmm…yeah it does, if you have several stud key position players or pitchers that come back that’s way more valuable than some players who are unproven and clearly not in a funk, they’re just bad.

LSU has yet to win 2 SEC games in a row this season and they’ve played 18 SEC games. Let’s see LSU actually win a few SEC games in a row before declaring they are playing good ball.

Does it matter if say Pearson goes 3-4 vs an injured player who comes back and goes 3-4? Math is math.

Team is close. Couple outs away from series against UF & Vandy. Bats looked better this weekend. Hopefully can build on this weekend and win rest of series with a couple sweeps, crack back in the top 25.

Since Vandy we are finally accruing hits. Didn't get it completely together against Tennessee, had 26 hits. I think that helped create this lineup for this weekend and we finally have something working for us. Pitching needs the focus now for us to make a real run. We were close to sweeping and sure errors occurred but 2 errors vs 8 runs (on Saturday) means it wasn't all due to crappy fielding.
